Ingredients
  • 1 cup powdered/confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Decorator sugar, if desired
  • Reynolds® Parchment Paper

Directions
  1. Combine powdered sugar, butter, egg yolks and vanilla in large bowl.
  2. Beat at medium speed until well mixed.
  3. Reduce speed to low; add flour and salt.
  4. Beat until well mixed.
  5. Wrap dough in plastic food wrap.
  6. Refrigerate until firm (1 hour or overnight).
  7. Heat oven to 350°F.
  8. Line cookie sheets with Reynolds® Parchment Paper.
  9. Set aside.
  10. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
  11. Place 2 inches apart onto parchment paper-lined cookie sheets.
  12. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
  13. Sprinkle with decorator sugar, if desired.
  14. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  15. Makes 2-1/2 dozen cookies
