How to make it

  • Arrange mango and pineapple cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet; freeze until firm (about 1 hour).
  • Remove from freezer; let stand 10 minutes.
  • Combine mango, juice, and nectar in a blender, and process until smooth. With blender on, add pineapple; process until smooth. Serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 cup)
  • Note: Substitute apricot or papaya nectar if you can't find passionfruit nectar.

    That sounds really refreshing and full of flavor - will have to give it a whirl when I'm in the mood for a smoothie...good idea to freeze the mango and pineapple first for a really "slushy" drink. Can't wait to try this one!
