Ingredients
  • 1 lb frozen edamame, in the pod (3-4 cups)
  • Dressing
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add edamame and continue
  2. boiling until beans are crisp-tender, about 6 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile mix remaining ingredients together.
  4. When done, run cold water over, or put in ice water, to stop cooking.
  5. Drain well; pat excess moisture off, and toss in the dressing.
  6. Top with seeds.
  7. To eat, hold pod by stem end, and slide the individual beans out
  8. with your teeth. Discard pod.
