Ingredients

I use a (very crappy) dial-up conection, and most times get knocked offline.

My computer is quite old, and nearing its demise, I believe.

I have been unable to rate recipes from my cooking buddies for quite some time. Sorry about that.

I really WANT to rate recipes, but often computer freezes and I have to reboot several times just to get back online.

I have seen some really nice recipes on this website, and wish to rate them, but am not able to.

Keep up the good work guys!

A wish list is always a good thing. I know what it is like having an old system. I am in the business and yet I am always behind in my own home. I am also used to dial up. I am out in the boonies so far that I was amazed that they even had phone lines out here. Keep your chin up. Good things come in time.

I'm right there with you! We have DSL and lots of free memory on our computer and protection too, but, still have something crappy in there...the interent is SOOOO slow...not just this site...and it freezes up all the time...takes all day to do one or two little things. It's soo frustrating...just glad to see you when you are here!

Sounds like you might have viruses on your computer. Even though we have high speed now and virus protection, our computer does those things quite often! The other problem is this site. It has connection problems ALL the time! If you have a local library, you could try their free internet computer service sometimes. They have high speed. But above all, please don't feel bad about not rating people's recipes! Just stop by once in a while and say "Hi"!

All of the above from me too. I know how frustrated you must be cause I have high speed Internet with an outdoor modem that doesn't like the cold weather. I've had problems all winter & I felt like going outside & bashing it with a rock. Hang in there with us & don't worry about ratings. I'm happy when someone sees a recipe of mine that they like & try it out. Ratings aren't a big deal. More important too are the recipes you have shared with us.
