Chris and I was messing around on tryen to figure out an recipe for an chili.We decided to go with the Brooks Chili beans and camed up with the rest of the ingredients on our own and this is what we camed up with.I hope that you enjoy this recipe.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cans (15 1/2 ounce) mild, medium or hot brooks chili beans
  • 1 mediun onion, diced
  • 1 package chili seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can (14.5 ounce) diced tomatoes, drain juice (optional)
  • 1/2 to 1 cup mild, edium or hot salsa
  • ketcup
  • crackers

Directions
  1. 1.Cook ground beef, chili beans and onion.Season with salt and pepper.Drain the ecess fat.
  2. 2.Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 5 to 10 minutes longer.
