One day that I was in the mood for Spanish Rice and was looking for the recipe and this is what I camed up with.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium green pepper, diced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt or garlic powder
  • 1 to 4 teaspoon (s) chili powder (depends on how much you want)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can (15 ounce) tomato sauce
  • 1 jar (16 ounce) mild, medium or hot salsa
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (depends what ever shredded cheese that you use)

Directions
  1. Brown ground beef, onion and green pepper.Season with salt and pepper.Drain the excess fat.
  2. Follow the instructions from the rice.When done add to the mixture along with the rest of the ingredients.Save cheese for last to sprinkle over the food in an bowl.
