How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375F. Coat 2 metal cookie sheets with cooking spray.
  • Toss chickpeas, salt, garlic powder and pepper in a bowl, spread in one even layer between the two sheets.
  • Lightly mist again with cooking spray.
  • Roast 25 minutes, then rotate pans, shaking to redistribute beans.
  • Return to oven and roast a further 15 minutes, until crunchy and bronzed.
  • Store in an airtight container, but no longer than a couple days.
