How to make it

  • Cook and chop up ground chuck/ground beef
  • Drain and salt and pepper to taste
  • Place in a chili pot
  • Add 2 cups water and chili mix packet, mix
  • Let simmer for about 15 minutes
  • Add 1-2 cans (15.5 oz.) of hot chili beans and one can of water
  • Simmer for about 15 minutes again
  • Add tomato paste and another can of water
  • Stir and simmer another 30 minutes
  • *More water can be added until desired thickness is reached
