Steves Chili

- 3 pounds of ground chuck/ground beef shopping list
- 1 packet of Brooks chili Mix (personal preference) shopping list
- water shopping list
- 1-2 cans (15.5 oz.) of Brooks chili beans (personal preference) shopping list
- 15 oz. or larger can of Contadina tomato paste shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cook and chop up ground chuck/ground beef
- Drain and salt and pepper to taste
- Place in a chili pot
- Add 2 cups water and chili mix packet, mix
- Let simmer for about 15 minutes
- Add 1-2 cans (15.5 oz.) of hot chili beans and one can of water
- Simmer for about 15 minutes again
- Add tomato paste and another can of water
- Stir and simmer another 30 minutes
- *More water can be added until desired thickness is reached
