How to make it

  • In a saucepan, heat the water on medium high.
  • Tear the mint leaves into small pieces and add to the water. Let the water soak in the flavor for ten minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Afterwards, strain the mixture into a bowl, then add the clear fluid back to the sauce pan.
  • Making sure the burner is still on, gradually add the sugar and stir until it's dissolved.
  • Finally, add the lemon juice and vanilla. Pour the mixture into a bowl to freeze. It should take 8 to 10 hours to be completely frozen.
