This is the absolute BEST apple pie that I have ever eaten in my life. My mom and grandma make pies all of the time, this one is their best!

Ingredients
  • Small Jonathan apples, sliced
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • pie crust shell or homemade pie crust
  • Topping:
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 3 Tbsp. butter

Directions
  1. Mix first set of ingredients and sprinkle over sliced apples (small (sour) Jonathan apples) in pie shell
  2. Mix topping ingredients until crumb consistency
  3. Sprinkle over top of apples
  4. Bake at 425 degrees until golden brown
