How to make it

  • Sift together flour,baking soda,and salt.
  • warm bourbon,Grand Marnier,coffee,both of the chocolates,and butter,in a pan until melted.
  • Add the sugars and mix until dissolved.
  • With mixer,mix chocolate mixture on medium,until cooled.
  • Add flour mixture slowly until fully combined.
  • Mix in the vanilla.
  • In another bowl,slightly beat eggs by hand and then fold into the batter.
  • Pour batter into the greased and cocoa powder dusted pans(two 12" pans)
  • Place the batter filled pans inside a much larger pan,then fill larger pan with hot water,to within a 1/2" depth.
  • Bake in a 300 degree oven,for 45 to 60 minutes.
  • Remove from oven when sides are set,and center is slightly ajar.
  • Allow to rest for about 5 minutes,then turn out on rack to cool.
