Ingredients

1 medium onion

1 pound lean ground beef

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

4 slices american cheese

4 hamburger buns

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Remove the outer skin of the onion.Using a knife on a cutting board, slice the onion in half, then cut each half into three pieces.Chop onion.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the onion, ground beef. worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder with a wooden spoon.

Shape the meat into four burgers.

Place burgers on a rack in a roasting pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350 F.

Remove the burgers from the oven and place 1 slice of cheese on each burger.

Return the burgers to the oven approximately 5 minutes for medium burgers and for appoximately 10 minutes for well-done burgers.

Serve on hamburger buns with your favorite toppings.
