Ingredients

How to make it

  • Beat the whites of the eggs.
  • Beat the yolks with sugar and salt.
  • Add Cream, flour, cardamom and beaten egg whites.
  • Get out your 'Monk Pan' and bake.(a pan with divots in it )
  • Adjustment to the delicacy will need to be made by one quarter turn.Usually by a knitting needle.
  • Continue cooking on all four sides until it has a golden glow all over,no need to check for doneness, you well know by the look of it.
  • When evenly cooked, remove from heat, cool slightly, pair them with cream, sugar, spice(or)strewn it with your sweetest jam.
  • These little charms are like blank canvases. They take on the personalities of the one creating them, taking the flavor of what is served with them...Nice on one of those special occasions when the flight has taxied, and the friendship contends.Allowing the guest to customize their experience with any topping they choose...With a glass of wine and these..they are pleased.
  • So,when I'm told to tend to my knitting...I'll just smile and say,"Yes...guess I well...with pleasure to savor"
