Beer Damper

- 3 cups Self-Raising flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheesee shopping list
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar shopping list
- 1 x 375 ml can beer shopping list
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds shopping list
- butter, to serve shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees celcius. Lightly grease a flat baking tray.
- 2. Sift flour and salt together into a large bowl. Stir in caster sugar, parsley and grated parmesan cheese.
- 3. Make a well in the centre of the mixing bowl and pour in the whole can of beer. Mix quickly to a soft, sticky dough with a metal bread and butter knife.
- 4. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured flat surface. Knead the dough lightly and mould into a round. Place on tray and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- 5. bake for 40 minutes or until the damper sounds hollow when it is tapped lightly. Cool for 10 minutes and serve while still warm with butter.
