Ingredients
  • 3 cups Self-Raising Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheesee
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1 x 375 ml can beer
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • butter, to serve

Directions
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees celcius. Lightly grease a flat baking tray.
  2. 2. Sift flour and salt together into a large bowl. Stir in caster sugar, parsley and grated parmesan cheese.
  3. 3. Make a well in the centre of the mixing bowl and pour in the whole can of beer. Mix quickly to a soft, sticky dough with a metal bread and butter knife.
  4. 4. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured flat surface. Knead the dough lightly and mould into a round. Place on tray and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. 5. bake for 40 minutes or until the damper sounds hollow when it is tapped lightly. Cool for 10 minutes and serve while still warm with butter.
