Can sent mail be deleted?

Can sent mail be deleted?

  I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to delete mail from the "Sent" Mailbox. I can delete messages sent to me, but I can not figure out how to delete items from my Sent Maibox. I want to clean out the old stuff.

I think what we will end up doing is only showing your last 10 or so sent messages as the point of "sent mail" is so you can remember who you have messages "out to", and an exhaustive history isn't really necessary. That should keep it nice and clean though.
