Couple things...

I don't know if you are aware of these, so they are more informational/questions, not complaints :)

#1 mail no longer allows spaces?

#2 is the hyper link feature meant to work when starting a new thread? It doesn't appear to be. It works fine with replies to other threads, but I can't find a successful starting post that has one.

#3 the "tag" search option doesn't seem to always work when searching within a recipe box. I did it the same way several times today, and more than half the time, it worked, but there were many times, it didn't.

#4 right at the onset of the new site, I had mentioned, then flagged, a "recipe" which uses a photo of myself as it's photo... it was a nasty recipe written by a troublemaker. I ignored it, here, and the text was mostly deleted, but my photo remains. It's a bogus recipe, to say the least. Do you think someone might get to that, soon, to be deleted? It's okay if it's gonna take a while, I just wanted to make sure it's "on the list" or if I should ask again, later, or if I need to suck it up and leave it?

I was SURE there were 5, and now I've forgotten one... Oh, I know! #5 we discussed photos enlarging upon clicking, and you said that the older ones don't, but the newer ones should. I posted 2 photos at the same time, sized the same and everything and only one enlarges. I started a post in another group just to ask if anyone else could make it bigger, but no luck.

Again, just drawing these things to your attention in case you weren't aware of them...if you are, then just ignore this and go about your business and I'll wait for the fixes. :) But, as we said before, you can't fix what you don't know is broken. ;)

#6 the Suggestions group.... I tried to get in there to leave it, earlier, as I have no need to be in there, but I can't get in. Pointsevenout couldn't, either. I have no idea if anyone else can, and I don't wanna post, I just wanna unjoin.

#6 1/2 any chance for an edit for posts and comments? :)

I'm sure I'm annoying the powers that be, but I'm not trying to... I don't complain much, but I'm addicted to helping and knowing and understanding... I've never had trouble with the site, never been "afraid" of it, and The Refugees came about for that very reason....to give y'all from "over there" a place to wade into the new site rather than be pushed in head first. ;) I've answered so many "site" questions in that group, I feel like I should take a few of them public! hehehe

anyway, thank you... I like it here. JJ, above, invited me initially, and I immediately was hooked. :)

2) Bug/oversight. When it was added to thread replies it wasn't included into new threads (for some reason). This is an easy fix. Should be done in next day.

3) What do you mean by "recipe box"? Is this your bookmarks collection (/bookmarks) or on another person's profile recipes?

4) Done! Photo deleted. It might take up to a day (usually only a few hours) for the changes to take effect.

5) I just tried the photos from your past few recipes and they all enlarged for me. Can you hook me up with a link? Also there is a slight "delay" before clicks on the photo will be processed (i.e. show the big photo). This is b/c the full-sized photos are so much larger in size we download them *after* the page has fully loaded (in order to make the page load faster). We are going to come up with a workaround for this (although it doesn't affect most people).

6) Yeah we have a "lock" on the old group to prevent people from posting there. What we should do is simply remove all users from that group automatically. We'll get to this.

7) Edit is definitely doable (and needed), although it will be a bit further down on the "master todo list".

#2 oh good! That lil test of my sanity is over...

#3 I mean another person's Recipes link(or my own) not bookmarks. For example, when I wrote this post, I clicked "lemon" under tag and it came up with pages 1 and 2, but no recipes are actually listed. I tried another person's just after and same thing. I just tried it now, and the recipes come up, again. I "caught" it on accident, but then because I'm weird, I kept trying it all day and it would only work intermittently. It works more than it doesn't, but something isn't quite right.

#5 Here is the thread and the particular photos in question. Sorry, you'll have to go toward the end of the post to find it, and Pointsevenout's answer, too. A 3 Recipe Night

#6 Glad to see the group go, but will be happier to see it off my list. :) No biggie, though, just making sure.

#6 1/2(cus that makes me giggle) Yes, please. Whenever you can work it in. (in same post as above, you'll see another mention of the edit feature.... I think I've been dreaming of an edit for posts since I got here! ;)

Thank you SO much for the answers... and for the comment on my recipe. My photos aren't good enough to make the "front" page, but the food might be! :)

That works for me? Can you give me the specific link that has this "lemon" filter applied?
If the pagination #'s are showing up, this means it might be CSS (display bug).

5) Great catch. This is a bug. Should be able to get to this tomorrow.

As for your photos, they are perfect! In fact a few hours ago I featured your last upload. What happens on the homepage is that we randomly select 2 featured dishes to show. But those two are re-selected every half hour or so. So you might come back in 15 minutes and your photo will be there! And btw, your Pistachio chicken looks insanely good! I'm running out of superlatives at this point. :)

okay... lemme ask this. If when it happens with the tag not working, I can try to copy the address and share it, but, if by the time anyone clicks on it, it's working, again, won't it show up as working rather than not? I could do a darn screen shot of it, and post it in here if we were sure the photo would enlarge! ;) hehehehe(sorry, being smart, now ;)

As far as filtering a person's recipes by tag, I still can't re-create this bug. As to your question about this, when you give me a link, it won't "save" what is going on at that point, but if you see it again, post the link anyways.

I just tried to edit my profile info and now it says that it made the changes, which it didn't say before, but when I go back and look at my profile, it still hasn't been changed. I don't know if you thought it was fixed, so I thought I'd let you know.

When I cut the text, then click 'save changes', it says 'changes saved' but when I look at my profile again, its still there. I even refresh the page, but the changes don't stick. I want to add new info about how to find recipes in the bookmark section.

Thanks to all of you! Kris has been working his tail off trying to fix all the bugs we find. And Keni, while I might rattle your cage a few times I do appreciate your dedication. I am an old timer on the site but have been remiss with the new edition. I need to learn the ropes better.

I am also "caustic" because I'm old and I get to be that way. The problem with a "community" site is we can't control who moves into the community. Everyone needs to be cautious about what they do because it may not be the other person's cup of tea. Then we all need to take a deep breath before we decide to complain. If we did not have this site there would be no place to complain!

And, I agree, Kris is doing a great job. Dedication? Eh... not really. I just like what the site is capable of, and I'm not afraid of change...more than that, I'm one who's been looking forward to change and growth of the site since I got here. :)
