  Is there anyway to remove bookmarks you have added?

  Yeah the whole "you have 2 bookmarks" sections is confusing. The one on your profile is really only so people who like your tastes can peruse your list. You should be managing your bookmarks on the grouprecipes.com/bookmarks page. It is far better.
