Morning! Last month was pretty busy for me so hopefully I can start getting some more recipes made!! Can't believe we are already in August!

Anyone who would like can nominate a theme/topic. We will have 2 full days to vote (only the people who say "vote for..." in their comments will count) and on August 3rd the winning theme will be announced and we will have until August 31st to make a recipe falling under that category, you can make as many as you'd like! The recipes can only be from this site. Please rate and review them on the recipe as well as here in the I Made It II :) Hope I covered everything and let me know if you have any questions! We were just chatting in "ODD" about canning and memories of our Aunts and Mothers doing it back in the day. I'm going to nominate "Recipes that Remind Us of Home", so basically anything that makes you think of when you were a kid growing up or dishes your relatives used to make. :)

Oh I like that idea too!! My Mom wasn't the greatest cook but she did make the same few things over and over and I can just re-create them "better" ;-P

Hi Sclaire! I'm so sad she passed away, I just went and saw that in the Refugees :(. Is this her profile? http://www.grouprecipes.com/people/lookwhoiscooking ? if so, she only has one recipe posted so that probably won't work out. Such a great idea though in remembrance of her!!
