I made this the other day, Sept.28/2016.:Braised Beef With Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Delicious, i used sweet potatoes this time and it worked very well.

I have never heard of a blade or cross rib steak, wonder if there is a substitution? Sounds delicious though and I'm so glad that the sweet potatoes worked out well for you, that's what I would use :)
