  We absolutely LOVED these cookies!! So for the "filling" I suggest making 1 1/2 times the recipe. I had to make more because I used almost all of it just spreading it onto the dough. Rolling was easier than I thought, I was thinking it would break too much, and it did a little but wasn't too hard to push back in. I got 45 cookies, but I may have sliced mine a little thinner than called for. Mine spread so much more than the recipe picture, and actually, the recipe photo looks exactly like what they look like before they are baked. Not sure why they would put icing/frosting on raw cookies though? Also, there is no icing recipe to drizzle over the top, so I made my own. A cream cheese frosting recipe that I thinned out with milk so I could drizzle :) These are so delicious and seriously taste just like a cinnamon roll!!

  Thank you Janet :) Here is the cream cheese frosting I like to use: https://www.spendwithpennies.com/best-ever-cream-cheese-frosting/ but I added 2-3 Tbs. of milk to thin it out. Worked perfectly!
