White Velvet Cutouts for February 2017 Recipe Challenge

  Though I made this recipe yesterday for Valentine's Day, I just saw in another post that Mommyluvs2cook said we can review recipes from other sites in this group, so I'm going to claim it for the February 2017 Recipe Challenge of making Valentine foods because I made all of the dough into heart shaped cookies. I halved the recipe and still got fifty four 2-1/2 inch cookies that tasted fabulous! A quick drizzle of decorator icing and some colored nonpareils sprinkled over that made them look super cute, and they looked as good as they tasted. The only problem I had was the sticky dough that made it hard for me to roll it out. The other problem will be to keep from eating too many! Good thing I'm sharing them with friends ;) The recipe was recommended to me by a friend, and I always like making recipes from people I know :)
