Keni Cooking Day!

  • mommyluvs2cook 9 years ago
Some of you may know January 12th is the date of Keni's 1 year passing, and a couple of us feel she would love it (in spirit) if we did an annual Keni Cooking Day! Her birthday is Febuary 16th so we are going to try and shoot for somewhere in between each year. This year it will be Sunday January 25th. If you would like to participate all you have to do is go to Keni's home page http://www.grouprecipes.com/people/keni and search her recipes and choose 1 or as many recipes of hers that you please and cook them :) I know she appreciated and loved when people made her recipes, that's why I think this would be a great tradition, and remembrance of her! If Sunday does not work for you to cook feel free to do it the Saturday before, or whenever you have time. Just come here and post on that Sunday. Hope this works for everyone, and can't wait to see the outcome!! Will be posting a reminder as the date get's closer :)

I'm gonna jump in here and answer this!
Yes, post a new thread for each recipe so you can show us your picture and also so it can be linked back to the recipe.
    :-)

In honor of Keni, who actually introduced me to GR. I am going to season my Cast Iron pans :). When they where gifted to me I had no idea how to take care of them. Thankfully Keni was an expert with the Cast Iron and recipes using it!
