korean food?

  while i was in afghanistan, i had the most delicious korean dish (i know its confusing) It was fried rice, topped with chopped chicken, and topped again with a thick deep red sauce full of sesame seeds. It was tangy and spicy and mildly sweet. I enjoyed it so much. WHAT was it and how was it made?
