Good Morning everyone! Looks like we're going to have a rainy day here in Ottawa. Risk of thunderstorms developing around 5 p.m.

I'm meeting up with girlfriends today for lunch. We're just going to a Mall and eating at the Food Court. LOL. We do more talking than anything so figured this was easy. I'm going to try go a little early and do a bit of shopping first.

Making Quiche for dinner tonight which I'm quite looking forward to.

Sad to see more silliness on the front Home Page. Shaking head. I was getting cautiously optimistic that things were a bit more under control recently.

Two photos of my new Kitchen garden below. It looks very small right now but I'm excited to see it fill in. Lettuce seeds are sprinkled amongst the herbs.

Didn't get a good sleep last night. Wishing everyone a great Friday.

Too bad about the Home Page nonsense. Wish the owners would do something...I tend to ignore the home page just bec of that.

The guys are working away. I made chicken macaroni salad with green onion and pepper jack cheese for lunch. Had to snitch the mayo from the RV as we ran out and I forgot to get some yesterday.

Rain is all around but not a single drop here. It went North and West and even south of us.

Not much going on here. We don’t know if daughter is working Memorial Day so don’t know if they can come up or not.

Was back at the vet again today. Long story short Bella seems fine in every way but won't eat or drink yet. I was able to get a few sprigs of parsley in her but that's all and that's not good. She hasn't pooped or pee'd either. I don't want to go into a holiday weekend with her getting critical so I took her back in for sub-q fluids to help hydrate her and meds to get her system moving and manage pain/discomfort incase there is any. Rabbits can stress easily and I know she was stressed but she needs to eat and drink and move her system or more serious problems then take hold.

Love your Kitchen Garden Janet! Nothing beats fresh herbs. Quiche sounds wonderful for dinner. I really need to try and make one soon. I never have. Enjoy lunch with your girlfriends.

You can have some of our rain Karen. I'm already sick of it. EVERYDAY!! and this weekend is going to be a wet one because of tropical storm Alberto. The nonsense on the homepage is down now. I know someone is looking/watching the site even if just once at some point during the day.

LD only got up once last night! so I got a pretty decent nights sleep but somewhat stressed about Bella. Don't feel like cooking dinner so we will go out for something somewhere.

Oh goodness Linda. I hope Bella's okay now. How scary. Thank heavens you know what you're doing and are familiar with rabbits because I don't know that I would have realized anything was wrong until it was too late. We're supposed to get rain here all weekend too. A shame as it totally puts a stop to be staining decks or mowing lawns, but we'll just have to plan for indoor activities instead. Yay for LD only getting up once last night. Worrying about pets is tough and fairly all consuming. Sending healing vibes to Bella. Is she back home with you now or did you have to leave her at the vet?

I had a lovely visit with my girlfriends. We went to "Moxie's" for lunch. I'm not used to eating at noon so just ordered a "Mosaic Dip" appetizer. I think it had mushrooms, peppers and goat cheese in it and it was served with nacho chips and triangles of pita. It was very flavourful and yummy. I only ate 2/3's.

I did a bit of clothes shopping for myself after lunch and managed to get pretty much everything to see me through the summer, so that's nice.

Rain never materialized although it was all around us, The guy who was going to do our door was in Salem and it poured and thundered there all day so he didn’t get his task done! He called to let us know what was going on and we decided Wednesday would be the next best day. Just one of those weather glitches that come in Spring.

Our RV has saved the day several times, Janet, although we don’t keep much there. It is not air condoned when sitting in storage so perishables are not kept unless it is for a short time in the refrigerator. At the moment two bottles of wine and a couple of flavored drinks, nonalcoholic, are in the refrigerator. I left some clothing in the RV closet so we won’t have as much loading to do the next trip.

Hay fever is bothering both of us. We are even taking Zyrtec although I hate being on meds unless absolutely necessary.

Daughter is off Monday so after church I will pick up what I need for Monday. Menu is ham, green beans (one of Keni’srecipes), roasted potatoes or potato salad, cheesecake for dessert —- I will send the rest home since we don’t need it and GS loves it. Need something else in the veggie category but am drawing a blank, maybe spinach something.

It looks cloudy to the south as it has been all day and the rain skirts on by. AC is the only cat outside...he waits until the last second before coming inside.

Probably fixing steak something....one of the Hello Fresh Meals. Easy, lazy, not too much prep.

Way to go Janet on getting some summer clothes! I bought quite a bit last summer that I have hardly worn so still pretty good for this year. Actually found a pair of white slacks the other day in my closet that still have the tags on! Completely forgot about them. I did buy me 4 new pair of flip flops as I go thru them like crazy. But that's your main shoe for down here, lol!

Dinner tonight was steak on the grill and a salad. We bought 3 really big ribeyes at Sam's Club this afternoon and that with the salad fed all four of us plus have leftovers. Was thinking earlier of another side to go with but decided it really wasn't necessary. Glad I didn't.

Having lunch with a girlfriend tomorrow at Olive Garden. One of her favorite places. Hoping the weather holds out as I need to do a few grocery errands afterwards and want to be done so I don't have to leave the house Sunday or Monday. Chloe's pantry is almost bare and I want to stock up on a few things just in case this tropical storm coming causes some havoc. Mainly will just be rain for us but here in Dunedin, the wind can blow just a bit too hard and we lose power, lol. Still have too many old grids around here. Did stock up on water today at Sam's Club but would like to get some other drinks and snacks that you have to buy in too big of quantities there. If I had the room to stow it all then I would as hurricane season is upon us. But...........
