Hello where is everyone today? I know Janet is still on the road and won't be in Rainy River until tonight. Her Mom doesn't have the internet so she will go to the library occasionally to touch base with us.
Tina, How is Liv's back today?
Michelle, I can't believe the strike is still going on!!!
Marie and Shona what are you up to today?
Karen, My ears are also pierced. I had them done when I was about thirteen and at the time my Mom wasn't very impressed. Later on she had her's pierced when she was maybe in her fifties when she was in LA.
I can't believe it rained again and my plants look like they are drowning poor things. We are having pork tenderloin for dinner. It will probably end out being Wiener Schnitzel or done with brown sugar, mustard and balsamic vinegar rub or crust. Now the sun is starting to peak out again and it is very hot and humid. The mosquitoes are huge this year! I am not up to too much today. LOL Procrastination is my biggest sin:)

I have the dryer running, have bills to pay and more dust bunnies to chase, plus unload the dishwasher (the hardest job for me).

I have a fresh pineapple to cut up. I think I might grill it. I have some chicken breasts defrosted and I'll do something wit them.

My first PT/OT appt is Thursday at 8 am. It will be a miracle to get up and get ready.

We are supposed to get LOTS of rain this or next week, potential flooding in some areas. I am doubtful of their predictions, since our weather doesn't always follow the weatherman's forecast. Ha.

I a fling this on the new iPhone --- we updated our old first generation ones and I am happy with it so far.

Tina I could go for pineapple on most anything today.

We have tropical storm Bill coming towards us right now. Should be here sometime this evening. I'm not worried about flooding here but I know Houston and cities right around that will be pretty bad. Its crazy how only 20-30 mins away from us can be under water and we could be perfectly fine! I think everything around here is set up a little higher considering we are so close to Galveston. Got a store run this morning and beat the rain. Dinner will be leftovers of the stir fry from last night. Wishing everyone a great rest of the day!!

Chiropractor treatment was so good and I feel much better, walking straight and enjoying NO BACK PAIN! Every three weeks seems to be the optimum time.
Weather just came on and -- surprise -- they have lowered the amount! Typical!

Kitties are wrestling on my lap. They are full of energy tonight!

The grilled pineapple made Olivia happy. I remember when we went to Disneyworld's Ohana restaurant they served the grilled pineapple with ice cream and caramel sauce. The pineapple brushed with butter and brown sugar was good enough as a go with our sandwich.

I made chicken salad with mayo, tarragon, chives, slivered almonds and craisins. Sliced tomato, lettuce and two slices of bacon on sourdough. olivia and I split one sandwich.

Both of my ears hurt. They seem hot and sensitive to touch. Weird, huh?

I have to say the change in dog food has definitely energized these guys. Skipy, the reclus, popped out of her hiding spot to play. This food is Blue Buffalo with an additive for aching joints. Plus the change in flavor is a treat. I buy 45 lbs at a time, so it isn'l like I can change it often. Olivia bought a bag of kibble and bits when we came close to running out. They all got sick. I won't do that again.
