Monday Mondayisms

This is a bad Monday! Baler is NOT working. Rep from dealer is coming this afternoon so he can see in in non-operation. Bah!

Will try to upload picture of A.C. as requested. Then it is time to make iced tea for the guys. They will need it.

Mel and A.C. together disasterized the couch cover in the above picture - it was nice and neat before they decided to roll around. Early mornings in our house are feline pandemonium as they rampage thru the living room.

Where is everybody? My internet, cable and phone line has been down all day and I'm about to go nuts. The lady I talked to said it should all be back up and running by 2. So I'm typing on my phone which is not that easy lol!
So sorry to hear about your baler Karen...I bet that is so aggravating! Cute kitties....hope your day gets better :)
Another round of swim lessons started today and this time Bri is doing it as well with the older kids group. After that we went to Wal-Mart (kill me) and bought a new blow up poolbecause the one we had has about 50 holes in it and I was tired of having to 're-patch them up lol! Tonight is a Korean taco recipe I found on Pinterest. I'll see if I can figure out how to copy and paste it from my phone after I post this. Hope everyone is doing well!

    Wow, where is everyone?

Karen, love the kitty pics. Doggone gone it on the baler. How frustrating! Gnashing of teeth for your benefit.

I'm having an extra achy day. Did all the cooking I could yesterday and it set me so far back I can't move. I dropped a very heavy dish of cassoulet. Dropped my bowl of kimchee. It was a terrible no good cooking day. I simply can't use my hands.

Michelle, I hope you survived the Walmart. Oh!!! I want the Korean fried chicken taco!

I've got rice pilaf with cranberries and pistachios, Zatar and cumin rubbed chicken that will go into toasted pitas with tzatziki and crumbled feta.

Hugs to all. May the Monday blues go away....... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h81Ojd3d2rY

I heard the teeth gnashing all the way to MO, as the technician told Wayne it is worn out and his recommendation was get another one.

Korean tacos sound great. Glad you survived Walmart - it can be an "interesting" place.

Finally found a food the dogs won't gobble up, kimchee. LOL they ran from the mess. It took a village to get it clean. I think I have to start cooking in plastic.
Any chance that people sell used balers? Or would you by buying someone's headache?

Tina: We would be looking for a used baler. New ones run about $17,000. For doing hay for 2 horses and couple of other people, we don't want to spend that much. The small square balers are hard to find, so guess we start looking for a decent one.

Marie: No fun losing a post. Esp. if it was a long one.

Still looking for rain - none in the area. Grass is brown. Dust everywhere. Calling for 91 degree day tomorrow.

The Springfield news report just asked people to watch for an insect called the kissing bug - it's bite causes swelling joints, pain. It is the weirdest one I have ever seen - sort of pumpkin orange long oval body with little squares around the edge. I don't plan on stopping to count the squares. LOL. It is bad enough to have the armadillo wandering up from the South without obnoxious bugs joining it.
