Good Morning Everyone! Just jumping in to say "Good Morning" and to wish everyone a lovely weekend.
We're getting set to head off to my girlfriend's cottage this morning. Just have to make some brekkie and pack up.
Michelle, I'm trying that egg recipe you told us about a few days ago from All recipes
    http://allrecipes.com/recipe/poached-eggs-caprese/detail.aspx
When I clicked on pictures of that dish I saw yours (very nice) and then a little notation under your name saying that you had 1680 photos on All Recipes! Holy Smokes! That's incredible. I know I take a lot of pictures of food but I know I'm no where near that. Hope you're having a wonderful vacation!
Sorry to hear you had a fall yesterday Tina. Hope you feel better today although unfortunately often the next day is even a little worse. :( Good you got your Schwann's order though.
Joce, take good care and feel better!
The fresh corn we had last night was amazing. (I had three cobs) :)
"Hi" to everyone else. My friend is making her famous Prime Rib for dinner this evening. Yum.
Looking forward to a dip in the lake.
    Have a great weekend!

Lost my post......grrrrr. We are socked in with rain. Some parts of the county got 8 inches of rain yesterday. We have flash flood warnings in effect until tomorrow. At least my pool is full with free water.

Poor Schwan's man was soaked when he brought my order. I had the chicken broccoli bowl for supper, followed up with a dish of orange creamsicle ice cream. I'm terribly bruised. My fingers are black and swollen. I've had ice packs on constantly. I've got two doses of arnica in me.

Love your animals in the water. A dip in the lake sounds lovely. Have a wonderful weekend, Janet. Prime rib, yum.

Making breakfast of turkey sausage, cheesy eggs and biscuit sandwich.

Making a fajita steak salad with black beans, corn, onions, tomato and a chipotle vinaigrette for supper, at least that is the plan.

    Good morning ladies:)

Been a busy week here..we are going to Chico today to give an estimate on a new door for some people who were referred by another customer of ours...word of mouth is big in these parts!

Janet, have a grand time at the cottage! Sounds like a beautiful place to get away:)

Tina, oh no! I hope you are ok...poor dear:( Has the swelling in your fingers gone down using the ice packs? We have a Schwann's truck go by every Thursday I believe..I want to order some stuff but never have gotten around to it..handy meals for the days you don't feel like cooking:) Take care!

Hope your having the best vacay Michelle:)

    Hi Joce:)

    Hi Karen:)

    Hi everyone:)

I don't know what we will be having for dinner..too early to think about that right now:)

Have a lovely weekend:) I'll check back in when we return home:)

    Hi all.

Have a good weekend, Janet! The surfboarding cat is adorable! Such a tiny kitten!

Tina, we had a storm go over when we were at church last night. The sky was turbulent and storm warnings were out. Drove home in rain but the worse part was South of us. We got very little rain here. Love the Schwanns cheesy broccoli skillet meal. It is for three servings but the two of us usually finish one bag.

We are going to pick up a few items later this morning. It is supposed to hit mid nineties and heat index of 102, heat advisories are out over the Ozarks. We have used the bedroom A/C more this year due to unusually high humidity accompanying the summer heat. Hate to see the electric bill!

Horses are fed and chickens are in their chicken yard. We have figured that if they eat all their feed then are hungry when we close them up at night, so they rush inside to get their dinner and we can easily shut the door on them. No more herding reluctant chickies in the evening. Will add more hens later and maybe a rooster. Hope it is a more tractable one, some are brutal to the hens and I don't like that.

Kittens are more subdued this morning. Chased Trouble off the kitchen island twice already. Their flea stuff is wearing off so will pick up another dose! It has been the worse year for fleas. Meanwhile, more diatomaceous earth on their necks will help, plus it looks like kitten bath time again.

    Hi to all.

SP Karen! I decided on Chicken Fettiuccini Alfredo for dinner..

Karen, what kind of shampoo do you use to give your cat's baths? I found a "recipe" for using Shaklee's Basic H for a pet champoo..(It's organic and fairly mild) haven't tried it yet..just curious:) I don't care for some of the stuff they have out there..too harsh for my cat's skin....anyhoo I need to get going!

    Talk soon!

Hanging out and chilling is fine, Laurie. You are so busy, you deserve a break. Crab cake eggs benny WOW! Olivia is the extra hollandaise in this house.

the top rack in dishwasher fell off the track and popped off the roller thingamajig.
i can't fix it one handed. argh, I need to wash dishes. oh well.

Alfredo sounds good, Marie. I hope you have a good trip to Chico.

Karen, that is a terrible heat index, phew. At least it is cooler here with the heavy cloud cover.

I have lounging dogs everywhere, trip hazards abound.

Hate it when the roller whatsis comes off in the dishwasher and always have to throw a mini fit first, then holler for Wayne to come fix it. The cheap plastic wheel thingies are the pits.

We are staying iside in cool A/C! Several more beastly days follow.

Laurie, hanging out is cool. Have a nice time!

Need to go to Lowes to pick up more twine but may not be able to do that today. May wait until tuesday when we can also look at futons for the spare room / guest room.

I hear kittens-into-mischief noise from the kitchen so have to go holler at / remove little beasts from whatever they are into.

Watching Barnwood Builders. I love it. Reclaimed cabins from 1890's rebuilt. The dude in the tie dye and long beard has me laughing.

Oops - I didn't answer your question, Marie. I mix Dawn in some warm water and use it. It is safe for kitties. There are some other brands. Shacklee has a good reputation, I don't know much about it but would feel good about it.

Hi:) Thanks for the info Karen! I know they use Dawn when treating birds and animals from oil spills (don't you hate seeing that?) I adore Shaklee products..might have to try it on my kittys soon:)

Hi Tina:) Well, we didn't have alfredo for dinner..I didn't have any half & half..and we only use almond milk so I didn't know how that would work...we had some sauteed lemon chicken along with zuccinni with tomatoes, garlic and onions..kind of a zuccinni stew..he's grilling a tri-tip tomorrow so I'll fix the alfredo maybe Monday:) I've been craving it for days!!!
I love watching that program..Barnyard Builders! They do some cool things don't they!

Guess I'll go see what Rick is up to:)
