Good Morning Everyone! How are you this Saturday morning?

I have a feeling it'll be a quite Saturday ... with Janet and Karen traveling, but do hope they are able to pop in and chat.
We were too full to make dinner yesterday after eating lunch out so I made cold plates (one of my favorites) with some stuff I had in the fridge. DH had a tomato stuffed with tuna and I had cold veggies with some olive oil and vinegar splashed over them.
Had split and rubbed a chicken yesterday with rotisserie seasonings and popped that in the crockpot this morning for dinner later. DH wants homemade pizza for lunch so I'll make some dough in a bit.
Will go to our fitness center later and that's about it.
The numbers people are giving me for a trade in on my car are not worth it to get another car. My car is only three years old with low mileage and in perfect condition and the dealers want to give me less than half of what I paid for. No thanks, I'll keep what I have and drive it for years to come.
Didn't even realize yesterday was Friday the 13th ... did anyone have any Friday the 13th "bad luck"?

Good morning. Stuffed tomato sounds great, Linda. I like a cold plate....Sunday supper will probably be cheese and crackers. After potcluck tomorrow neither of us will be hungry. Burgers for lunch today and going to a post wedding get together afterward.

Expecting a bit of weather tonight but most of it will go north so not worried.

Fritz has recuperated from his trip. He is more lively and even ate a bite of dog food this morning.

Cheese and crackers are great Karen! Must get a variety at the store next shopping trip. I like pepperoni and olives to go with it too and carrot sticks. Have fun at the wedding get together and happy to hear Fritz is getting use to traveling.

Hi guys! Just popping in to say 'hi'. We had a good trip down yesterday. It was cloudy and gray with spitting rain but the leaves here are really nice. Got checked in and had a nice dinner at the restaurant. I did end up getting the Pork Schnitzel with mushroom sauce and Jim got the Chicken Supreme.

A bunch of us staying here had breakfast together this morning at the "Clubhouse". Egg, ham and cheese on bagels. Yummy. Now everyone's just getting cleaned up. The guys are going on a brewery tour and the girls are going shopping. :) We'll convene afterwards for some nibblees before the wedding.

Karen you're at a wedding too.? :) Must read back.

I love cold plates Linda and would eat that a lot more often if Jim were as fond of it as I. Your chicken sounds yummy as does your pizza. I saw it was Friday the 13th first thing yesterday but then completely forgot about it. :)

I like cold plates, Linda. Cars are a necessary expensive evil which is why we drive ours until they die. Even if you just bought a brand new car and just drove it off the lot it depreciates quite a bit right then and there! They are not a good investment at all. Your dinner sounds wonderful.

Enjoy the wedding reception, Karen. Nice to hear Fritz is gradually getting used to traveling.

I hope it doesn't rain for the wedding, Janet. Enjoy shopping with the girls and have a great time.

We had McDonald's for brunch and it is an overcast day with rain in the forecast all day. Not much happening here. Den is having his normal cheeseburgers and fries and I am not sure what I am having yet.

Cold plates are the best ... a little of this and a little of that. Wish DH liked them too, we'd have them much more often. Maybe I can be creative and prep things he might like ... or just get him lunchmeat.
Nailed the homemade 🍕 pizza! Changing the cheese worked. Switched to part skim and it worked well, even tasted better. Dinner was awesome too but have a lot leftover since we were not that hungry. I'll heat the leftovers up for dinner tomorrow.

Probably have frozen pancakes for breakfast....pot luck at church....and cheese and crackers for supper maybe with a bottle of wine.

Fritz is happy. He is on Wayne's lap chewing his stuffingless toy.
