Sun and blue skies Saturday

Don't know in what order things will get done today. Do know we'll be hitting the store first to get some ingredients for a Pizza Supreme Soup. And to yell at the owner about the way they are treating some frozen goods. Bought a couple cans of french loaf dough that was all sticky and just terrible to work with yesterday. That kind of item you just can't bring back to the store after it has been opened and poked at.

Did have to raise the chains on the grow lights this morning. Thought I did that last night too.

Sunshine here, too!!!! ANd my first day off with the house to myself since before Thanksgiving!! I am just giddy. LOL

Of course, the first thing I was looking forward to, sitting on the couch and eating my rice krispies with the last banana cut up in them and watching FN...sat down with my bowl and thought...this banana tastes funny...another bite...OMG...the milk was sour!!
    : ( I really hope that's not an omen for the day...lol

Not sure about supper, I am going to spend some time catching up and all the recipes I've not seen here, and do a GR supper. I used to do that every Saturday that Bryan was on day shift!

Seriously, though, his back has done pretty well with working this week, hopefully it will continue and he can put off the surgery for a long time.

    ENJOY this gorgeous day!

I guess we all woke up to sunshine! Gorgeous here too! I'm so happy cuz that means we can be outdoors today at my family thing.
Enjoy your day to yourself Lori! And What is that by the way? LOL (sigh)
P7O, I'd take it back anyway, but that's just me - the principle of the matter person.
Good luck at Macy's today, Laurie.
Grilled cheese burgers sound good, Pat. I get potato salad today too!
Brad's foot is all swollen today and painful, something about the bone by the big toe (he googled it - LOL) it's from being on the balls of his feet for too long while bending down doing the lower courses of shingles. I don't need to tell you that he doesn't do sitting around and staying off his foot well! Gonna set him up on the deck with his welder so he can do the copper post surround thingies. Whatever.... Just gotta make my little tamale meatballs and a Greek salad and I'm good. Enjoy your days, everyone!

I'm going to take it back but all they are going to get is the empty can and paper covering. I struggled mightly trying to make my dough-knots creation and wound up with dough wads. Talked with the store this morning and they need the empty can and papering to get their money back from the manufacturer.

Pizza soup turned out well. Warmed up my innards. Now on to a nap before the outside yard work starts.

It is a BEAUTIMOUS DAY in East TN! Gorgeous and sunny!

Hubbs was at the store last night and got a package of 3 strip steaks for $6, so doing those with Lori's cheesey-garlicky-addictive-evil-blasphemous-illegitimate-lustfilled-adulterous-sinners-no-saints potatoes to go with. I'm just sayin'.

POINT--Pizza soup sounds great, Points. Wish you were up here doing all my yard work, ha!

JJM--gosh, hope he feels better soon. I know when mine is "down" everyone else gets the "treatment" if you know what I mean! grrr...

SPAROW---glad to hear Mr. Bryan is faring well. Such a nice guy!

LeCLARE---Your menu has me thinking cookout. We had such a blast last year on the 4th---thinking I might just tackle another one! :-)

Donna have a great time at the family thing. Hope Brad feels better, and that you two don't kill eachother in the process...lol

I wouldn't mind a coookout myself. And 4th of July reminds me...Bryan will get his house paid off in June, so I've got to plan food for a NOTE BURNIN PARTY! whooohooo!

Have FUN Wynne...can't wait to hear about it!

I have spent too much time prowling through recipes, but hey...I got some laundry done in between, and the housework was done already, so why not? lol

Gonna do Gaw-jis Mealtoaf by Lillyann, it's the second half of posted recipe: Extreme Rotnin and Cheese and a Gaw-jis Meatloaf. Not gonna do the rotini n cheese. http://www.grouprecipes.com/58339/extreme-rotini-and-cheese-and-a-gaw-jis-meatloaf.html

Gonna serve with baked potatoes with Wynne's sour cream! (posted) The Best Sour Cream Your Baked Potato will Ever Meet!

Tossed salad, and probably some desert...gotta see what I have the stuff to make. And now to go enjoy the sunshine for a bit. May go walk around downtown and prolw in the antique shops. We live in tiny town with a neat "Historic Downtown".

    Catch y'all later!

Woke up to a beautiful sunny day. Got a couple of chores done and a beef roast in the crock:

    http://family.go.com/food/recipe-cp-630081-tex-mex-beef-wraps-t/

Then I lace up my shoes to run down to the store for a couple of things. Put the car in reverse and bumpity thump. Another FLAT TIRE! This makes the 3rd one in less than 2 months. First 2 were back left tire, this one is front right. When the first one happened we thought maybe it was the cold or a slow leak. It was almost a month before it went flat again...doesn't ever look low....so then we started thinking about the hoodlums that I am always running off from my yard. They have spray painted cars before and they seem to take a delight in just being delinquents. So with this one today being a totally different tire I am certain it is them.

One kid in particular would always walk out in front of me while I was driving. One day I stopped and yelled at him to get the f*ck out of the way. Then his mom opened up the front door and screamed at me to not yell at her kid. I told her she needed to get them under control. This was about a year ago and then they moved to Florida, well, now they are back. Sure they live on the other side of town but they take the bus over here as they still have friends that live in this area. On top of that their parents care absolutely nothing about where they are or what they are doing. Parents are losers too. Don't have a home. They bounce around from friend to friend and are constantly getting kicked out.

    Sh*t. I'm so pissed.

Oh. On top of that I just realized about a half hour ago I forgot to turn on the crock pot....dinner will be late.

Parents need to be bitch slapped a few times to bring their kids under control. It's so easy now days to put up an invisible surveillance camera. Turn the evidence over to the police.

Got a new garden strip tilled up and a couple more strips next to my neighbors yard for a dirt hauling project a couple months down the road. Another tilling tomorrow to churn up the drying out dirt.

Had another helping of the pizza soup. Plenty left over for tomorrow.

I came back to tell y'all how good that recipe I tried tonight was. Its a keeper for sure. A nice spin on a beef roast for sure.

An update on the shenanigans....I have enlisted the services of another of the teens. He is my bounty hunter so to speak. Good at taking vids with his phone. Has caught me and Jess arguing in more than one. LOL

Told him I would pay him for footage of the a**munch admitting to letting air out of my tires. We shall see.....
