Good Morning Everyone! Overcast here this morning and I think we might get a thunder storm at one point. Stayed up later than normal last night and this morning I was wakened by what sounded like a table saw? No idea.

Think we're going to grill ribs for dinner tonight. Need to think of sides.

Oh dear on your scare with Chloe yesterday Kimmer. You are in no way a bad Fur Mom. LOL. Guess she just got a bit too much heat. Sounds like you did exactly the right thing. How is she feeling this morning?

Dinner was nice last night and our neighbour showed up at 7 just as I was putting it on the table!!! LOL. So then he realizes we haven't eaten yet and Jim said 'Ya, give us another half hour', so he came back then. He talks A LOT, but we did get a catch up on lots of things that are happening in RR so that was good.

    Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday!

    Good Morning Everyone.
Another bright sunny day here and warm. It wanted to rain yesterday and got dark and windy after dinner but we didn't get a drop.
Later we had some very interesting lighting flashing thru the sky south of us.

No clue about dinner just yet. I made pan seared Cod last night with a butter parsley sauce and service that over a rice mix with vegetables and a salad on the side. LD had salmon and veggies.

Oh My Goodness Janet on your neighbor chomping at the bit to be with you guys and of all nights your anniversary. Happy he got you all caught up on the happenings in R.R. … anything interesting?

Yikes on Chloe staying out in the heat too long Kimmer. You would think you could trust her to know when enough is enough but I guess Momma does know better. Hope she is feeling better and back to her normal self today. Enjoy your get together with family today.

I love the big fancy RVs and would love to travel around in one but there is no way I could drive something so big and when DH was driving I probably wouldn't have trusted him driving one anyhow. It would be cool though to travel and have all your comforts rolling on wheels with you. We went to a big RV show in Philadelphia one year and they were amazing! They had all sizes. And yes, they are a lot of work.

I think once school starts Karen you'll find all campgrounds less crowded.

Hi Linda! Pan seared Cod sounds awesome. I can't wait for our first taste of fresh Walleye. It's one of the things that we get here fairly regularly but not in Ottawa. LOL @ you not trusting your DH to drive a big RV. LOLOL. I wouldn't want to drive one either for sure. And I agree, once kids are back in school the campgrounds will be a lot less crowded. Sure do feel bad for parents of school age children during this Pandemic. It's so mixed up and it really doesn't sound like anyone has a good handle on it.

Made Poached eggs on toast with fried tomatoes for brekkie. Hit the spot.

When moved to FL we rented a small RV to take everything the movers were not allowed to move, cleaning products, the pets and their stuff, clothes because the movers were not scheduled to arrive until 3 or so days after we got here, etc. We couldn't fit what we needed in the SUV so it was the next logical thing.
OMG!! how my DH got us here alive is an amazement. It was THE WORSE ride of my life ever and for 2 very long days. He drove that thing like he was in battle. That's when I knew the RV life would never be for us unless I hired a driver.

I wanted to play today so I made a small loaf of soap. Nothing fancy, my olive oil is a greenish yellow color so I need to work with the color theme. I scented it melon and mix some Chlorella and dark green mica in to make it a dark green. It looks pretty but will see how it cures if the color changes. I was able to get a swirly pattern on the top and once cut I'll stamp it with this adorable heart stamp I bought.
Don't know how, but I managed to get the teeniest tiniest drop of raw soap batter around and in my mouth. It does NOT taste good and burned. I rinsed immediately but the essence is still there. Lye is nothing to mess around with for sure.

My weather raccoon predicted rain. She was at her spot early wanting her peanut butter and dog food sandwich. Now she gets comfortable and lays down. Got a sandwich to her and it started raining about 15 minutes later and has turned into a pretty wicked storm.

Very fun you made some new soap Linda! It sounds lovely but ugh on eating some of the soap batter. Bleck. Lye is nasty stuff indeed. Awe on your trusty weather raccoon. That's adorable that she lays down. LOL. You must have sent your weather to Rainy River as we got hit with a mega rain storm with thunder and lightening! We had driven in to town to drop Mom off two meals worth of Rouladen. We sat in lawn chairs outside and it looked gloomy so she just sat on her walker inside and we talked through the screen. But after almost an hour the heavens opened up and we had to make a run for the car.

I've prepped the ribs and am going to make a tossed salad but if it's still raining a lot we'll keep the ribs for tomorrow night and I'll just make some more English Muffin pizzas.

Ugh on the chain saw sounds so early in the morning.

    Cod does sound good, Linda.

I guess I started something with the RV. LOL! No, I don't think I could handle driving or towing an RV. Wayne is old enough to have some common sense and experienced enough to be able to handle it okay. We went with the 5th wheel because of price, and the particular model due to cost and not having to buy a bigger, expensive, truck! The Class C's drive like a large pickup, and some are not very big -- Class A motorhomes cost far too much for my budget. Even a cheap or used one we could have imagined getting would have been $75,000 and up. Plus I love our floor plan.

Daughter will be tested for COVID possibly tomorrow afternoon. I am tired of the entire Coronavirus situation.

We ate at Pizza Hut. It was close to 3 PM so not many people. Had a half supreme and half meat lover pizza. Have some for dinner if we don't want to cook.

Just heard Simon Cowell broke his back on his e-bike. This is the first I heard of an e-bike but it sounds a bit more than I want to tackle. I'll stay with the Gator!

Yum on Pizza Hut Karen! I'd have the meat lovers. :) That's awful Simon Cowell broke his back! I tried an e-bike out once when we were in Taiwan. It's fun and you don't have to pedal really. I googled him. He's 60. Good luck to your daughter tomorrow.
