    Hi Linda. Cute critters.

It is errand day and I am sitting in the truck while Wayne gets the mail. Stopped at Dollar Tree and picked up the hydrocortisone I needed and $29.00 worth of other stuff that jumped into my cart. Natural / scented soaps, bowls, adult color book for Wayne's sister, bandaids, spices, and dish soap just leaped into the cart. It is a dangerous place to shop. Ha ha. They have a bazillion Easter themed decorations.

Still looking for plastic set of decent glasses for the RV. I find one or two of a pattern but either the wrong size or not what I want. Will likely take it in for dewinterizing Friday.

Wayne is back. On to next errand

    Good Morning!
Awww such sweet pics of LD and Bella, Linda! Good luck with the cleaning.

Sending safe travels back home today, Janet. No doubt you will be stopping at a few places on the way back home. I hope your dinner last night and breakfast this morning were great too!

Once again I am not up to too much today, just puttering around the house and cleaning here and there. I don't have a clue what we are having for dinner yet.

    Wishing everyone a great day!

Karen, Isn't amazing how things just jump into the cart:) We don't have a Dollar Tree here in Canada at least that I am aware of. We have Dollar Stores but they probably aren't as nice as yours. Sounds like Spring is in the air if you are going to have the RV de-winterized soon. Good luck with your errands today.

OK, I'm back. I was dusting the bedroom and washed the bedding and made the bed. After made a pot of turkey chili for lunch then took a shower. DH is with his speech therapist so I'm taking a break and enjoying some on-line chatter with you all.

Hoping you get all your errands done Karen. Stuff is always jumping in my cart and sometimes I just have to throw it back on the shelf. I LOVE Easter stuff ... the bunny stuff is just so cute!! Hope you find the glasses you are looking for for the RV.

I'm not sure what to make for dinner either Joce. I do have another package of ground meat mix in the fridge that has to be used so I'm either going to make meatballs and sauce or a sauce with the meat all crushed up and seasoned like meatballs. Will grill DH a steak then.

Oh NO on having to do an on-line course for your traffic ticket Michelle. A painful lesson learned for sure!

Storm "cells" must be a states thing as I'm familiar with the term too Janet. Safe travels home and enjoy your stops along the way.

Tina I'm so sorry about Sally. Strokes are devastating (I know). Prayers that there is hope for her to recover. It's very hard on the patient as it is on the family. There is just no predicting what the future brings for patients but don't give up hope.

How are you feeling today Bren?

Never did make meatloaf yesterday, just didn't seem like the day for it so I popped the container in the freezer and made Salmon instead with steamed asparagus and carrot slices.
The house is getting so dusty so quick and it's because I've been opening the windows and it's pollen season. Thank god allergies don't bother either of us but if it gets too heavy I'll keep the windows shut.
I too am in the "I don't care for Nutella" camp. I don't get what's so great about it. I did make a braided challah once that had Nutella in it and I do have to admit it was pretty darn good but that is the only time and only way I cared to have it.

I order my vitamins and health food items from an on-line source because the health food stores here are so overpriced ... anyhow, they always send you samples of something with your order and I recently received an organic hazelnut spread from Nutiva. They sent a milk chocolate sample and a dark chocolate sample and both were very good but since I'm not into eating Nutella I don't buy it but if I had to I would buy the brand.

Linda, I'll look for that brand for when the mood strikes Olivia again. She likes her combo hazelnut-peanut butter-marshmallow fluff sandwiches. Ugh.

I have laundry baskets full to fold and sort. Washer and dryer running. I had two tofu hot dogs with banana peppers and avocado slices, dressed with creamy chipotles sauce. With all the extras you can't taste the tofu.

I got a twelve dollar ticket for a .75 cent toll booth fare. There was no attendant at booth and I went thru anyway. No one to give me change so now I owe!!

Is there anybody to call about someone not being in the booth ... the toll commission?? That's Bulldung!

I agree, bulldung! I wrote a note on the comments section and mailed them the ticket unpaid. We will see what happens.

Huge slump in energy again. I'm taking meds as directed and I believe the gabapentin is sapping my energy. I was only taking one a day instead of three. But then I was in constant deep bone and muscle pain. Trade off worth it? No.

Salmon cakes and creamed peas and onions for my solitary supper.

Love the pics you posted to start the thread today Linda. Bella looks very comfy and somewhat regal in her bunny house. Turkey Chili sounds yummy and nice you get a little break while your DH is with his speech therapist. Your salmon and asparagus sounded wonderful.

Sounds like you had a fun shop at the Dollar store Karen! :) Nice that you can now get the RV all set and raring to go for summer. I need new glass glasses for the kitchen and really should go out and search for them.

Hope you figured out something nice for your dinner this evening Joce. Yes, we did stop in along the way home. Just pulled in about a half hour ago. It was a nice little get away. My birds and squirrels missed me a lot and I received a warm welcome. Even a deer came up very sure that I had something to give her. I could have reached out and touched her if I'd wanted.

Oh dear on the driving ticket Michelle. Good luck with the course. That's interesting. Haven't heard of that here but maybe? Better than having to go into the Driving Bureau though. Yum on pork chops. I want to do some later this week with some sauerkraut and pearl barley.

I could taste the tofu Tina, jus' sayin'. :) It does sound outrageous that you should get penalized for not paying a toll when there was no one there to collect it. :( Hope they get your meds all worked out. I know you have a hard time with all that. Yum on salmon cakes.

Jim and I went to McDonald's for breakfast, LOL, and then went back to the resort for a final swim, hot tub and sauna. Got checked out and then went in search of a set of Water Falls in Plaisance, Quebec, not far from Montebello. They were quite nice. It was a little messy/treacherous getting in there as it's not plowed and cleared in the winter time. Then Jim realized that he forgot the charger for his tablet at the resort, so we had to turn around and go back and fetch it. :) Set out again, hit Ottawa and made our way to Costco and had a hotdog there for lunch. LOL. (Gone is the gourmet fare) Grabbed some groceries from there and Sobey's, dropped off some nice cheese to my girlfriend from the Fromagerie in Montebello and then home. Going to make
    Chicken Bake Samm
for dinner this evening with steamed carrots and spinach for sides.

Last night I chose the Steak Frites at "Le Bistro" which was very good. It had a shallot sauce over the steak. Jim had a wood fired pizza with bacon and olives.

Sens game on this evening. It's nice to be home.

Sorry to hear your meds are causing an energy slump Tina. Please talk to your doctor about it. I hope there is something to do. Your dinner sounds great! Anything salmon has my attention.

Glad your home safe and sound Janet. Too short a trip I'm sure after being so pampered. Your chix bake recipe looks great and the ideal comfort meal.

I made the best, what I like to call, "deconstructed meatball sauce". The ingredients I use to make meatballs (except no egg or bread) simmered using a can of whole peeled tomatoes, to make sauce for pasta. One of these days I'll measure what I use but I just do it to taste. Made some spaghetti and a salad for me and grilled a steak for DH, that he helped grill, and a side a steamed green beans. It hit the spot! Too bad I didn't have any biscotti for dessert.
