    Good Afternoon Everyone!
Where is everyone and what are you up to today? It is a bit warmer today but we are expecting freezing rain and then a ton of snow on Friday going into Saturday! UGH! Enough already!
Too bad about the Bath Bombs, Kimmer:( Scary actually! They should have made a big thing about the recall so everyone would know. IMHO At least you know now though.

I am just puttering around the house today. We are having a little ham and cheesy scalloped potatoes for dinner tonight.

    Wishing everyone a great day!

Good Afternoon All ... I was just getting ready to start a thread Joce and happy to see you did.

I am dead on my feet again from lack of sleep and basically just existing on the couch. The dog was very restless last night and got us up at 1:00 a.m. He probably didn't feel good. We got up when he fell between the bed and cedar chest I have at the end of the bed. That's never happened. We all went out to the couch after that and he finally settled down but I don't sleep well on the couch so it was another sleepless night.
I'll have to go back and read and catch up with everyone later. Big Yawns.

I was sitting here thinking of a thread title about to start one lol. Morning Joce and Linda!

Ugh on the upcoming snow Joce :( I'll have to read back on what Kimmer said about the bath bombs, we use them all the time! Yum on ham and scalloped potatoes :)

Aww..too bad you didn't get much sleep again Linda, and poor LD, hope he feels better.

Got to the gym this morning then ran by the store to get a few things. I keep losing my earphones and it's driving me CRAZY!! I bought yet another pair today and am going to watch them like a hawk. Lol! I don't lose things often so this is really bugging me.

The homemade pizza I made the other day was SO GOOD!! I may post the recipe (for the toppings only) because it was such a good combo of ingredients. I'll attach the link to a few of my favorite crusts to it also. The Cassava flour crust was delicious but a little flimsy, so I'm thinking next time I will pre-bake it some before I add the toppings and that should help. Recipe didn't say to pre-bake so I didn't.

Dinner for the kids tonight will be either hamburgers from the other night, more BBQ pork sandwiches or pork tacos. We have so much shredded pork it's ridiculous lol. I froze quite a bit last night so there is probably about 4 or 5 meals left to use up. I'll probably have some of the pork on a salad or something. Have a busy night with sports if it doesn't rain, but I think it's going to. Have a great day everyone!!

Oh no Kimmer, that's horrible about the bath bombs!! I have seen those Hatchimal one's and thought they were adorable, but my kids wouldn't be interested so I didn't buy them. It's not your fault, how would you know it was going to do that? It's sad that you have to go and look for recalls on everything you buy nowadays :(

Good Afternoon Everybody! The weather's been crazy for sure Joce. It's SO mild out! 7C! Benjamin messaged me this morning and said it was 9C where he was (at night time). Crazy! We just had two massive avalanches off the living room and bedroom roofs. Feels like an earthquake when that happens! Your dinner sounds wonderful. Jim's decided he's not as much a fan of ham as he used to be but I think I should make that once this winter because I love it.

I did see a blurb online about the Hatchanimals bath bombs just after Christmas. In no way should you feel bad Kimmer. How could you possibly know? The girls we visited at Christmas also received them. This was prior to me seeing the recall. They had baths using them and were totally fine so it must just be a certain batch had too much of something in it. Impossible to avoid until the news trickles down.

Argh at another bad night's sleep for you Linda. Try take it easy throughout the day and I hope you get a solid sleep tonight.

Looking forward to your pizza post Michelle. I bought a ball of dough at the grocery store the other day with an upcoming lunch in mind. Your dinner options sound good. Hope your sports don't get rained out.

    Chicken Lickin Good Pork Chops
in the crockpot for dinner and will serve with mashed potatoes and either asparagus or spinach.

Feeling a bit of the winter blahs today. Hopefully the weather won't be too bad tomorrow and perhaps we'll go to a movie or something.

I made a batch of steak spice this morning. Someone had told me about a good one from All Recipes.
    http://allrecipes.com/recipe/247313/authentic-canadian-steak-spice-eh/
I followed that although I didn't have minced garlic or coriander seeds but I subbed garlic powder and then added some things I did have in my spice drawer....tuscan smoked spice, spanish smoked paprika, smoked pepper, minced onion. It made a 250 ml. jar.

    Hi.

    Late posts today.

Raining and the temps are dropping fast. We have to move the RV over the support boards, involves pulling it out, placing the boards behind the wheels, backing it up again. Then lowering the stands and leveling.

Went to town in a summers day temp of 60F, at noon the temps started dropping. It is cold and rainy. Sleet is expected, but not a heavy accumulation. We will stay home!

Back in a minute. That has to be done before it gets too cold.

It is now 34F, to drop to mid teens. Thr rain has gone East and North of us. The light snow is to the West but doesn't look like it will reach us.

    Wow on the bath bombs.

    Hi Joce. Hi Michelle.

Hope LD feels better and you get some sleep, Linda.

Wayne would love ham and potatoes Joce! One of his ultimate favorite meats is ham. With pork chops a close second, Janet.

The RV is set. The truck is in the garage.

Wayne just brought in firewood. He said Fritz accidentally touched the electric fence with his ear. Poor guy yelped. He really needs to stay away from it so a light contact may be experiential learning. He was okay, just scared.

    Have a nice evening.
