Good Morning Everyone and "Happy National Margarita Day"!!!!!! :) Jim and I are going to bottle our batch of wine today with my girlfriend and then we're going to go to Lone Star (AGAIN!) for lunch as they are offering $5 Margarita's in honour of the occasion. LOLOL.

I need to run to the grocery store and have a couple of other errands as well so we'll see if we end up getting everything done today or have to go in tomorrow as well.

It's -6C/21F this morning. Very icy outside.

Don't know what to make for dinner this evening.

    Wishing everyone a great day!

Morning Janet! Too cool on bottling your own wine! How many bottles will you get out of it? Enjoy your margaritas!!

At the gym then I need to go by the grocery store and Sam's. These guineas eat a ton of veggies so I need to grab some more things as well we are running very low on other things.

Making philly cheese steaks in the crockpot for dinner with French Fries, dug through my freezer more yesterday and found more meat lol, so now I have more of a variety :P. Have a good day everyone!!!

    Good Morning everyone.

I read yesterday but it’s hard for me to toggle back and forth and write in detail responses. My desk top is in for repair with an expected turn around time of 8 to 10 days! And as you noted Karen trying to use an iPad, especially with the most recent update to the keyboard is irritating. It’s changing what I type constantly. Argggh.
I’ll have to use DH’s when he’s not fiddling around on his.
Wishing everyone a great day! Enjoy the margaritas Janet!

Sounds like you have an interesting day ahead of you, Janet. I hope you get everything accomplished today.

Yes, guineas do eat quite a bit of veggie and fruits as well, Michelle. Do they have other pet food type of food too? Your dinner sounds very good to me.

I hope they get your computer fixed quickly, Linda.

I need to do some errands this afternoon other than that nothing new. I slept a bit better last night which is good. We are having Salmon Souffle for dinner with rice and steamed asparagus.

    Wishing Everyone a great day!

I think we get 28 bottles of wine Michelle but I can't remember exactly. We only do it once a year. :) LOL @ the Guinea pigs eating lots of vegetables. My girlfriend's daughter has two of them and I brought them treats one time. Broccoli and something else but one of the things they didn't like. What seems to be their favourite so far? Wow! Your dinner sounds awesome!

Ugh on having to be without your desktop for that long Linda. :( It's just brand new too isn't it?

Glad you got a better sleep last night Joce. Good luck with your errands. I read online that Foodsmith's sold their business to their store manager the end of January. Sounds like everyone is happy and it'll run the same. Yum on salmon souflle. Now that sounds DELICIOUS! I still have no clue what to make tonight.

Jim woke up and is watching the Ladies Olympic Hockey Game from last night. Canada vs. the U.S. As soon as I woke up this morning one of my cousins told me that the U.S. had won but Jim has no clue we lose in the shoot out. I feel bad for him. :( Congrats to the U.S. team though. We took too many penalties.

Yes, I knew Don and Claire had sold Foodsmiths, Janet. I have been meaning to tell you I don't think Perth Pepper and Pestle has ever been sold their last stock went to Foodsmiths and the stock is getting smaller and smaller. Do you want me to pick up a couple of bottles of the Bombay Pepper Jelly and send them to you plus any other products you like that were made by them?

    Good morning.

Have a fun margarita day, Janet! It s not as icy here but any ice is too much.

What veggies 🌽 do the Guinean pigs like, Michelle?

Isn’t the new iPad keyboard horrible, Linda! Ugh ugh ugh!

Glad you are feeling better, Joce.

Still in my pj’s at 11:00. Ha ha. Time to get going! We have nothing to do this evening so maybe we can get some work done! Planning on redoing bathroom and back porch....first I have to clean! And remove half the stuff from the shelves so we can get to the walls and put up cupboards for storage.

AC is outside, the rest of the animals are snoozing away on a warm couch. Fritz is about to be evicted, however.

    Have a. Good day!

Ugh about your computer Linda :( At least you have DH's to use when you can.

Hi Joce! The guinea's have their pellets as well, but they are not as excited about that as fresh food lol. Glad you got good sleep! Yum on salmon souffle :)

Omg, 28 bottles? That's awesome Janet!! So far our GP's don't care for cucumbers or oranges that much. They are supposed to be eating an orange a day to get their calcium intake so we may have to put drops in their water. They LOVE cilantro, spinach and lettuce. Still have a lot of things to try out though to see what else they like/dislike. Awww..well I'm guessing by now Jim knows that Canada lost?

Sounds like you have a busy day Karen!!

Spinach should be good for GPs Michelle. Variety is good.

Laundry is started and lunch is over. So glad we are not going out this evening.

    See you later.

You told me about Perth Pepper & Pestle troubles in the summer time I think Joce but I haven't had any trouble finding their products. Thank you for your kind offer to grab me some and send it to me but I'm good for now. If they do end up going out of business, which would be a real shame, I'll have to hunt down a new brand. It is their Bombay Spice Hot Pepper Jelly that's my favourite alright. Jim isn't a huge hot pepper jelly fan.

Sounds like you've got some big projects about to start Karen!

And yes Michelle, we did indeed get 28 bottles of Shiraz. We'll leave it sit 'til June'ish and then use it in Sangria throughout the summer 'til we're out of it. :) Mom has requested we bring a bunch out to Rainy River this summer when we visit as she loves Sangria too. Jim watched the Hockey Game until the moment we left this morning. It was a LONG game! Went into overtime and then a shoot out and even that ran long. A shame it had to be decided in a shoot out but.....

We had a fun day. Got the wine bottled and then went to the Lone Star for lunch. Jim actually ordered Fajitas!!!! He has had fajitas on 5 separate occasions since last Friday!!!! What a Fajita Monster!!!!! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun with avocado and arugula and chipolte mayo and a side of tortilla soup. It was very good....and so were the Margaritas!!!! :)

Stopped in at Sobey's for some groceries on the way home but didn't get my hair cut and didn't go look for snow pants.

We're just going to graze from the fridge for dinner. I've got a bit of the rotisserie chicken left from last night and there's a bunch of nibblees so we'll be fine.

Sens game on and Jim has lit us a fire.
