Hi Janet!! All those truffle recipes look delicious!! No special plans here for Valentines Day, same ole', same ole' :) Ugh now I feel boring lol!

Going down to the "Fresh Market" to pick up some chicken leg quarters and whatever else they may have on sale. Meet the coach for T-ball went well. There are 2 kids from Fall Ball on his team so that made me super happy, as I like both of the Mom's and second, Caiden likes the kids lol. :) :P Dinner is the chili I was supposed to make last night, it got busy :) Have a great day everyone!!!

I'm having a chuckle at the truffles, lol...it's one of my 'business's on the side' I tried in my catering days. I must have rolled hundreds and hundreds of truffles that year, so much so that I really don't want to ever do it again ;) Lol. But yes, it makes great gifts! You can get these neat chocolate boxes wherever they sell chocolate supplies. Some that fit 6 truffles or 12 etc..:)
Nope, no plans here. I usually just get a little treat for the kids. Sometimes I'll make some heart shaped cookies or something. Since it's on a Sunday I might do some baking :)
I didn't make my pork chop recipe last night either Michelle, lol, that's what's for dinner tonight!
It was snowing this morning. The biggest flakes I have ever seen in my life! Some were the size of two quarters stuck together--in these oblong shapes. Just crazy! Just when the snow starting melting, it has to come back :( My mom told me that in Victoria the daffodils are blooming and the Parliament building has all the primroses in bloom. Ahhhh, miss home I can just smell the fresh spring air with the salty sea....miss it.
No plans yet, I wanted to go to town to exchange these pants I bought for Colter, we'll see how much more snow we'll get!
    Have a great day everyone!

Janet, the truffles and the Lindt Chocolates are so thoughtful for Valentine's Day guests. You are the hostess with the mostess!

Michelle, I would really like to have a "Fresh Market" nearby - such nicer products than the grocery stores. We probably won't do anything for Valentine's Day either. Church - Annual Congregational meeting - Church Council meeting - home (late). We might stop by Miller's Grill on the way home if it is isn't super Val. Day crowded...I don't like eating out when it is crowded or advertises "family style eating."

Shona - LOL at rolling out truffles! Our daffodils are just three or four inches above ground now. It was 20F this morning -- nothing expected until Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Went in with Wayne to St. Robert and had brunch. Eggs easy over - biscuits and gravy - bacon. He had a skillet bowl but I don't metabolize the grease in skillet bowls so not for me. Daughter had Dr. appt also.

Yesterday on FB the pound had a pix of a found stray dog, they called him Hal. About 3 or maybe 4 y/o. Male. We stopped by the pound, but I don't think he is house broke and the more I thought of it the less I think he would "fit" even tho he is nice.

They had a Stafford Terrier puppy that was adorable and just spayed. I slapped my hand - don't need a pit bull - don't need a 6 mos. old pup. Esp. a Stafforshire Terrier. Its round eyes and rolling over on the back with tail wagging still haunts me. But I want an older dog. Puppies are lots of work. I DON'T NEED A PIT BULL PUPPY! Someone talk some sense into my head.

Daughter was no help - they came in from walking a mama with pups, brindle, sweet, and daughter put her name in to adopt her. That one I liked. She will be kept at the shelter and her pups are to eventually go to a rescue center. No idea the breed. It will be March until she is available, spayed, and the pups gone.

I am going outside to test Wayne's reaction to the puppy idea. Today is not one my smartest.

    P.S. - HE LAUGHED.
Called and put my name on the list. One other is ahead of me so unless they back out we won't get her but I will be happy she gets a good home.
