Too tired for Tuesday!

Let's hope I can post this today. I tried like ten times yesterday to start the thread and it just would not go.

Back to work today at Sutton. Only a week and a day left. Woo Hoo! It's a little strange that hey haven't had me fill out any paperwork for Macys lol. My start date is supposed to be the 26th. I'm working for Givinchy Friday through Monday so I will be in Macys I may just head up to the office.
Have safe travels Janet! So awesome that everything worked out.
Tonight's dinner is chicken sausages from Whole foods with potatoes and onions.

The second picture is of my new hair. After being blond for 30 years I changed it and it was a big change!

Made a smoothie this morning with frozen bananas, strawberries, almond butter, almond milk and a few cocao nibs. Next time I make it I will get a picture and I'll post a recipe because it really is a great smoothie. Drinking my first cup of coffee, will definitely need a second then Michael and I will be off to the gym. Need to make a Sam's run after that, completely out of milk, bread and lunch meat! I really need to make a trip to the health food store, but I will do that when Michael's not with me...I don't want him to see the price I pay for some things lol. Going to make Chicken Salad With Dried Cherries And Paprika for lunch with leftover chicken. Don't have a clue about dinner yet...will need to go and dig around in the freezer. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Michelle, I have sticker shock at the health food store. Have you checked out Thrive market online? Julianne Michaels endorses it, healthy stuff for less. Good luck with all the errands.

Jim loves smoothies and I like them as well Michelle but I never think to make them up. LOL @ not wanting Michael with you at the health food store. :) I do know what you mean. I prefer to grocery shop without Jim there as well. :) Thanks for the travel wishes!

I woke up at 2 a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep. Alarm was set for 3:30 and we were in the car by 4. We've just landed in Chicago. Got a message from Benjamin and he just landed back in Taipei, safely through Immigration and he's feeling on top of the world. What a crazy week that was! :)

I never had problems with my old camera, but this new one has more mega pixels, making the file larger. So it's something to do with file size or picture size I am sure. I love your hair!! That smoothie sounds good Michelle! I usually make the kids a smoothie after school so I'd love to try new recipes. Haha, go to the health food store without Michael....Lol. My mom would always say that to me, "your Father doesn't need to know how much things cost!" haha ;) That chicken salad looks good too!

Today I'll use up the leftover turkey. Making this Chicken Andouille Gumbo I have some Andouille in the fridge and was saving it for a gumbo after Thanksgiving!

I hope you have a safe comfortable trip, Janet. May now you will get some much needed sleep on the plane. Glad Ben arrived safely back in Taipei!

I don't like shopping with Den either! He is always in a rush to get out of the store!

Well wouldn't you know it our turkey wasn't thawed so tonight we are finally having our Thanksgiving dinner! We took Den's car in for servicing this morning and then went to pick up my meds at the Pharmacy and the doctor's office had not called them in! I just called and left a message and I hope they get back to me today!

Right now when I work at Macy's I don't actually work for Macys. I work for the perfume companies directly like Givinchy or Juicy Couture etc. the new position is actually with Macys on their payroll. It's called an RSS Co-op position because I am paid half through Macys and my check and benefits will come from them but half my salary is funded through P&G which owns fragrence a like Gucci, Dolci And Gabanna, Hugo Boss. There ar very few of these positions. This one was actually only created about a year ago but the woman who had the position can't work full time anymore and she wanted me to have the position so she contacted me, her boss, Macy's etc.
So it is doing what I do now promoting fragrence but with a different line and a different title and people kind of answering to me.

His sister is here until Wednesday. We are going to Silver Dollar City tomorrow, Hermann for Oktoberfest Friday, R & R Thursday or else Springfield. Saturday is a good day for relaxing at home and making lasagna.

Back from dinner. Wayne decided he wanted to take a different road to our daughter's house, about two miles down the road a small deer ran in front of us. He slammed on the brakes but connected with the chest area of the poor thing. It bounced off and rolled down the ditch, lay there with its head up. We stopped at a nearby farm and the guy brought his rifle to end its misery - it was gone! I thought for sure it had broken a leg, but I guess it was stunned and in shock. He said he would look around in the morning first thing, he knew the owner of the property where it probably ran. Grill on the car is missing a few pieces but I was more concerned with the deer.
