Second attempt to post. Guess I am conflicting with someone else trying to post. Or the internet is wacko. Or my computer is not happy. Or whatever. Ha ha. So I will try again, after first typing this on a word processing document so it can be retrieved after any “losses.” Ha ha.

Anyhow, we had a great time at Matt’s Steakhouse for Wayne’s birthday dinner. I am still NOT hungry! Wayne is having a second cup of coffee, but I think my first was enough.

We caught the blonde raccoon again and Wayne released him right away. He is older, has lost muscle mass, and moves slower. I know nature can be rough, but still hate to see him go down hill.

Will try to download photos and send, no guarantee. Two are Mama Jeans stores in Springfield - health store, organic meats, etc. It is raining and we are in a flash flood watch, really do need more rain so can’t complain. Next week is supposed to be dry so we hope to get some haying out of the way.

Photos would not post. I don't know why or if it is computer or internet problem. So disgusted and ticked off! I am very short tempered with anything that doesn't work like it is supposed to. Grrrr! I put Blondie's (raccoon) picture on Facebook.

I saw the pics of Blonde you posted on FB and he certainly looks like he has seen better days. I wonder if it is b/c he is an albino? I didn't end out making spaghetti and meatballs yesterday as the ground beef was still rock hard when I took it out of the fridge. I will be making the meatballs and sauce today as I have everything prepped and organized for them. We ended out having sausages with mashed potatoes and creamed corn last night instead. It is a sunny hot and humid day today and if you are getting rain we will certainly get more then in a few days. I haven't had to water the plants too much this year but I think I will be able to feed and water them today. Yesterday after I went shopping, I weeded until my back couldn't take it anymore. I was able to fill up two plastic grocery bag with them and I will try and do more today.

Laurie, I am sorry to hear about Frank's Mom and Dad's car accident. Good to hear they are O.K. Frank will be able to help out while he is there. An accident always shakes people up for awhile and I hope his Mom's arm will heal quickly.

Shona, Lemon poppy seed muffins with lemon curd inside MMM! How decadent! Send me some of your energy, I really need to get up off my duff and clean and get this house back in order!

LOL My mind is blank today and I can't think of much more to say except to wish everyone a great day!

Not enough time to read back but just wanted to pop in quickly and say 'hi' to everyone. Hope everyone is doing okay. We arrived in RR safe and sound and have been working our bums off getting set for Mom's garage sale on Sat. Not much selection at the grocery store. Makes things tough to plan a menu! Take good care.

My body is dragging, I had Physical and Occupational therapy at 8:30 am. They don'r want me driving and I have to get a lifealert. My legs were like jello. The grip on the dog bite hand registered 22 and on right hand 45. Both therapists were nice. Lots of home exercises and working on self care items I need. Gadgets to help me gain some independence.

oh, Laurie, sorry to hear about the accident. Everybody hurts more the second day after. Hope all goes well for them.

Olivia is on bed rest, can't lift anything more than 20 lbs. A muscle relaxant and anti-inflammatory with a deep tissue massage. (booked tomorrow). Off work til Monday.
Hauling banquet tables and chairs is hard on her.

Joce and Shona, you know my weakness for lemon!!!! I made a blueberry poundcake with a lemon glaze and I made Olivia take it to work after I got one piece. Now I wish I had some.

Chef salad for supper with homemade bleu cheese dressing. Little corn muffins.
