It is another quiet day in ODD.

Fritz is improving. He is tender around the mouth and still swollen. He tries to hide when it is time for his meds. And did chase the cats this morning. Mel and Trouble are outside. A.C. Is being weird and staying indoors....very unlike him.

Wayne will run errands today and I could have gone but have laundry and such to catch up.

Al is quiet in the Ozarks....no rain, just more heat.

I wish I could send you some rain we broke another record yesterday getting way over 3 inches of it. Some of the mulch in the backyard has moved into the gravel pathways b/c there was a big puddle in the middle of it from all the rain. Sigh...just more work to do getting it back to looking good again. Good luck with your errands.

I am looking forward to getting my hair cut today it is looking a bit straggly, to say the least. Then I have to mail my GF's BD present. I ended up buying her a piece of pottery made by a well know artist in the area. I have it all wrapped safely in bubble wrap so, I hope it is going to be O.K. I also need to pick up a few other odds and ends at the grocery store. I am not sure what we are having for dinner at the moment. I will check back in later if I can.

I'm at the car dealer waiting for my car. It's being serviced to fix the thing so I can start it from the app I have on my phone, hopefully it won't be much longer but these guys have the personality of rocks. There was a woman here who was fabulous and so easy to work with but she is gone.

That's great news Fritz continues to improve Karen. Really weird about AC. Don't you wish they could talk and tell you what's bothering them.

Heat advisory warnings are in effect. I don't think the temps are that abnormal but because it's getting hot so early, staying hot all day, and not cooling down a whole lot at night.

Ugh on the alligator attacks, Linda. Not cool!

We are keeping Fritz away from the area where he was bitten. It has longer grass and shaded areas they frequent. He didn't like getting his meds....poor little guy is improving enough to chase the cats, although he backs down when Trouble approaches.

It is hot and will hit 95F today. I am ready for winter.

Hi Linda, sad about the homeless man, maybe he went into the pond to cool down? Heat can do crazy things to your mind! Hopefully your car is fixed and you can access the car app from your phone.

My part time job helping my brother has turned into a full time job, Lol, lot's of calls, emails and internet searches. It's exhausting, lol. I took a quick break, got some fresh air and went for a walk. Now I need to get back to it.
Dinner is just beef taco's in soft tortilla's and a crispy iceberg salad.

I'm back at work. It relying on rides. Sticks not being able to drive lol and to think I didn't drive for the first 30 years of my life lol!
Tonight is my book club so I eat dinner there everyone else has something going on except frank so cereal for him lol.

Had it cut shorter than I think I have ever had it and I'm loving it! I've always had medium to long hair and just got so tired of it. Was always a pain to do anything with and half the time I had it tied up on top of my head anyway so decided to just have it cut off! So sad about the homeless man. Well it's Tuesday so til my cheese night. Looking forward to that, as usual. Don't have to worry about anything for the boys tonight. Ben has a football game and will grab something. Cayce plays on the team too but he's not playing tonight. A friend of his from school is moving away to Texas tomorrow so a few friends and him are having a little going away get together for her.

Not much else going on here. Enjoy the rest of the day all.

It is always 5:00 somewhere, Shona. Quitting time! Yay! Wayne can fend for himself in the kitchen. He sticks with basic cooking. Burgers, etc.

Nothing going on here! Schwanns comes tonight so may just get something for supper and avoid cooking the chicken thighs that are in the refrigerator. Have a nice day.

Hi everyone!! Just wanted to pop in and say Hi!! We are in our last stretch of driving..probably about an hour and a half before we get home...mostly fighting traffic through Houston. Will be SO glad to get home. Bri and I have been getting very car sick since our trip and that rocky bus we had to ride in constantly. We had to pull over a little bit ago so Bri could "let go" of her lunch. Not fun :( I'll try and check in tomorrow if I get time, have a good evening!!
