Tuesday Temptations

I will drive right past Dunkin Donuts on my way to the bank, I will drive right Dairy Inn that has the BEST Creamsicle shakes on my way to Walmart. I will enjoy my dry toast with mashed avocado to the max, hot sauce is made for it.

I do have a lovely salad (leftover chicken curry on fresh greens, chopped pineapple) Dinner is grilled turkey bacon and brie sandwich. And an 80 calorie coconut ice bar.

I have a massive headache. Probably from the lack of caffeine. I need that second cup.

Swiffer day trying to catch up with the flying fur monkeys that are overtaking the LR and DR. Boxing up more giveaway clothes. If I get it done, it counts as exercise.

Karen, $40.00 dollars is super affordable. 70 dollars twice a week is too much. As long as I do the exercises at home consistently, I'll get there. I tried getting up with arms crossed and I would be stuck for days lol.

Good job vibes sent your way Laurie.

Hoping the ODD kids are all feeling better. No fevers, upset tummies, earaches or bad backs.

Well I better get moving or nothing will get done.

Hi Tina. Did Dunkin Donuts or your conscience win?

$40 ☺️ Is a good price. These are exercises, not PT or OT. Today the only sore muscle is from the one stretching exercise.

Had to run to get antifreeze / coolant for the tractor. They made an appt to pick it up Friday and gave him at no cost 2 1/2 gallons of coolant. The tractor only had 30 hours on it and should not be acting that way. I left him off at the farm and came home....such fun trying to sweep with two kittens attacking and riding the broom. I am sitting down waiting for the kitchen floor to dry so I can straighten the kitchen. Mauser batted a cricket around....she loses interest when it stops moving...Trouble took over and is choosing down on cricket delight. Next step is for Mauser to take over and drop it Wayne's shoe.

Hi Tina, I hope your headache is gone by now! Lol, at having to drive right by those places, will power! Turkey and brie sandwich sounds lovely :)
Sophia is sick again :( for three days now. This Friday is the last day of school so I hope she can go tomorrow. For as sick as she gets during school time, I can't remember a time she's been sick in June! Maybe it's a bad case of allergies, but she's been on Nasonex and Reactine. Colter has exams all week, but at least he only has half days. Our internet and satellite has been on and off, we keep having thunderstorms.
I have some leftover chicken breasts, I will have to figure out a use for them. I would love to make a creamy chicken salad but the kids won't eat that. Will have to get my thinking cap on!
    Have a great day everyone!

Gee I hope your headache goes away soon, Tina. I bet if you search around you can get even a better deal than $40.00. My doctor has a health spa where her office is and she has a big gym with a track, personal trainers and every exercise machine available that is good for you. She has PT and massage therapists. She charges only $50.00 per month to use all the facilities in her fantastic gym and they keep a good eye on you. They have a class like what you are talking about and it is included in the $50.00 per month fee. St. Pete's know doubt has something like that which would work for you. Yup every movement counts as exercise:)

Karen, I hope the tractor will be O.K. I agree it shouldn't be acting up that way. LOL @ trying to sweep with two kitties riding on the broom:)

Shona, Poor Sophia:( It must be so frustrating for her. I do hope they get to the crux of her problem soon. Our kids are finished school tomorrow and the last few days are just day trips and things like that. Good luck with figuring out what to do with the chicken. I am sure you will come up with something everyone will enjoy.

The catalytic converter did not arrive and I need my car for tomorrow morning as I have a barium (UGH) esophagus X-Ray at the hospital in the AM. They will be bringing my car to me this afternoon and then I will bring it back to them after my X-Ray in the morning. We are having pork chops with some sort of pineapple thing. I have a fresh pineapple to use up. Maybe I will grill it or something? I need to pick up some milk an other things after I get my car back.

    Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

I passed temptation. Have my antibiotics and pain relief. Hot compress in microwave.
Dogs are incorrigible. Let me out, let me in, out/in, out/in. Next house gets a locking dog door.

Of course my salad lunch doesn't intrigue me. I ate my coconut popsicle. It is hot outside.

So sorry Sophia is sick again. What about a chicken bbq wrap? English Muffin chicken pizza? Chicken tetrazzini...or chopped chicken, celery and cheese in crescent rolls

Joce, ugh on the car delay. Grill the pineapple. It is so good. Good luck on the test.

I hear the microwave calling me.

HI EVERYONE! I've missed you all! First time I have had a decent amount of time to hop on the Internet. Am at the Public Library. I've been in withdrawal.
So sorry to hear that Sophia is sick Shona. :(
Good luck at your test tomorrow Joce. The test doesn't sound fun. Do you have to drive into Ottawa for it? I've grilled pineapple before with a cinnamon sugar mixture for dessert and it was wonderful.
Coconut popsicles rock Tina but they're hard to find!
Mom's Garage sale was a success. Jim and I have been working our bums off. She made about $270 but more importantly we cleaned a lot of crap out of her basement and garage and what didn't sell we brought to a New and Used shop over in Baudette. We have a huge load (the third we've had so far) to bring to the dump tomorrow.
I've had good visits with my Aunts, cousins and old school friends. Weather has been nice. Mom lives on a beautiful property and it's been lovely. The sky here is SO big as the land is flat and not hugely populated. Cooking has been an adventure though. Mom doesn't have a whisk (made Scalloped potatoes with cheese and a roast ham the other night) and initially told me she had no flour. On her way out to buy some at the store I looked in her flour canister and it was full. Challenges, challenges.

Just reading back.....Ouch on the car bill Joce. Our Jetta is really producing a lot of diesel smells the last couple of days which it's never done before. Plus on the way here the fan quit working except for on "HIGH" which is loud and pretty annoying. Good thing it hasn't been too hot. When are you planning to shop for another car?
Jett, your chops on the Foreman grill sounded excellent. I've never used a grill to cook anything but panini.
Go you on the Senior Strength classes Karen! Sad that your blonde raccoon is going downhill. Happy Belated Birthday to Wayne!
Good luck with the job interview Laurie! So sorry to hear that Frank's parents were in a car accident! Glad they're going to be okay.
I brought Jim out for Father's Day to Rosalee's restaurant in Baudette, Minn. for Father's Day along with my Mom and my Aunt Irene. Jim and I both had the Prime Rib. It was amazing and both my Mom and Aunt got the Ribs which they also enjoyed.
Joce, how did Den make out with the blinds? :)
That park you took the dogs to sounds lovely Shona. You're lucky to have something like that so close.
Tina your new furniture is lovely. good choices!
Michelle, have you been busy now entertaining the kids since they're off school?
Read back a lot but didn't see Marie. Hope she's doing okay.
Have been invited to dinner by a friend of Mom's this evening. He's making Grilled salmon. Tomorrow night we're invited to one of my cousin's for dinner. Mom had bought three pounds of walleye so we could have some but we didn't get around to it yet. I think I'll thaw some and we can have it for lunch tomorrow.

I all! I really don't have time to catch up, sorry! Got up went to swim lessons, grocery store and hardship meeting. Currently making this dough http://www.kitchme.com/recipes/real-italian-calzones?invite=26xq for these calzones http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Quick-Spinach-Ricotta-Calzones/?prop31=6 so I guess that doesn't make them quick anymore lol! Also going to make a Ceasar salad with a homemade Ceasar dressing my friend gave me the recipe for. It's good stuff! Forgot the anchovies though so I might run up to Walmart in a little bit...grrrr. Hope everyone's day is going well!

Welcome back Janet. Glad the sale went well and it sounds like you all are enjoying visiting relatives.

Hi to all. I am typing on my iPhone and it has lost one large post already so will have to make this short.

Rain passed by last night and this morning but is threatening again tonight and now they are calling for rain Thursday. We have hay on the ground so are hoping it goes by.

Will have to go before my iPhone loses another post.
