Good Morning Everyone! I've been up for a couple of hours and had my required two cups of coffee. :) Have to think of something to pull out for dinner. Having a little craving for
Tetrazzini
I'll run it past Jim and see what he thinks. :)

Am treating my girlfriend to lunch at Fratelli's today. It was her birthday last week.

I usually always have the Carpaccio when I go there but maybe I'll choose something different today? LOL.

This week's main job on my list is to stain the decks. Since we get such cold temperatures in the winter and we shovel the front decks, the stain tends to peel off and needs to be redone every couple of years. It'll be a big job. I think I'll start tomorrow. It's been a week since I mowed the yard as well and of course the grass is growing like no one's business so that also needs to be tackled.

We have to stain the sunroom steps but that will wait. I should pull weeds.the flower bed and ga Den are in need. Still haven’t bought tomato plants and herbs and decide what to put in the flower bed.

Slept so late this morning. Interrupted sleep and going to bed late doesn't help. I woke up early and took the trash out then crawled back into bed and fell asleep. Having my first cup of cold brew now and a slice of banana coffee cake.
I set up the survelliance camera last night (some neighbors put trash out) and so no evidence of the bear, no creature period.

Fratelli's menu looks nice Janet. Enjoy lunch out with your friend. I'd be having the Italian Salumi Board. Deck staining is a big job. Do you have to do any prep work prior like powerwashing or sanding? Uggh on that dang grass growing enough already to be cut again.

Sounds like you accomplished a lot yesterday in your yard Joce. That's always a good feeling. That's great your garden centers take back the plastic pots. Are there any centers that will let you pick out what you want in a hanging basket and then make it?

Yes, rain is forecast, just a wee bit for this morning Joce and then sunny and with partial clouds this aft. I'm going to stain the decks before I mow the grass so the mowing won't happen 'til way later in the week. Good luck with the house cleaning.

Is it going any better with LD sleeping through the night Linda? Yes, I'll have to do some sanding on the decks prior to staining.

Jim said 'yes' to Tetrazzini so I'm thawing the chicken.

LD is sleeping better but still gets up 2 or 3 times. It's better than 6 or 8 so I'm happier.

Rain is being called for here today too. At least we had a break yesterday.

Lunch was nice. I got the Carpaccio. LOLOLOL. My girlfriend got a woodfired pizza with pepperoni, olives, mushrooms and peppers. Bought two beefsteak and one cherry tomato and a pot of basil at the Garden Center. Need to work on my Book Chat report for the beginning of June. We are reading "The Hidden life of trees" but it's pretty boring.
