Tuesday's Trial

I outdid myself with that thread title lol. Since I have jury duty today and the rest of the week. Can't talk about the case but I'll give you the scoop when it's over.
They say we probably will get out at one so going to try to do some grocery shopping after.
Not sure what's for dinner as of yet. I can't wait to grill but the grill is still buried in the snow lol. Pictures are from my cousins wedding

First is my cousin and uncle coming down the aisle. Second is my cousin up on the chair. And the third is my family and that is my crazy mom on the left. She turned 69 yesterday!

LOVE the photos. Beautiful family. Good luck with the trial. wow on your grill being buried at this late date.

I woke at 2:00 am violently sick to my stomach. I still feel sick. Just a quick howdy and back to bed.

weather is lovely. Today is Allison's birthday. I'll call her later, She has to work.

Good Morning Laurie! Great Thread Title! :) Do you have to travel far for Jury Duty? Those Portobello mushrooms you got yesterday sounded delicious! Lovely pictures from the wedding. You all look fantastic!
Jim and I have decided to go see a movie today. It's $8 Reel Deal Tuesdays at our local Theatre. We are going to see "Kingsman: the Secret Service". I think I also have a coupon for a free popcorn. :) It stars Colin Firth, Samuel Jackson and Michael Caine (who I adore).
Jim and I did book our trip to New York City for the end of April so I'm pumped about that. We're just going for three nights and I want to see as much as I possibly can in one fell swoop. :) I'd like to take a ferry ride to Staten Island for a good view of the Statue of Liberty, tour the NY Public Library and Grand Central Station, walk the Brooklyn Bridge, past the Empire State Building, Times Squares and Madison Square Garden. Everything looks pretty contained so that's awesome. I would like to go to Momofuku too just to say I have. :)

With our Aeroplan points and taking advantage of an offer we got last fall from TD Visa we got two round trip fares direct from Ottawa-NYC for $275 all in, so you can't beat that. :)
Not sure what to do for dinner this evening. Need something fairly quick as we won't get home until about 6 p.m. I think. Jim was requesting Veal Scallopini the other night. If I find some gravy down in the freezer I may do it. Otherwise maybe my back up standby....Shake n' Bake Chicken. :)
Supposed to be sunny out there today although it's still chilly.
    Wishing everyone a glorious day!

SP Tina. Did you eat something bad do you think or is it a flu? Poor you. Get some rest. Happy Birthday to Allison.

Awesome pics of your family, Laurie and Happy belated birthday wishes to your Mom she looks great! I hope the case you are doing jury duty for is interesting. You are lucky to have such a good butcher shop like that! We have a great one as well all his meats are as natural as you can get them too. Yes he is pricey but everything is always top notch.

Tina, Sorry to hear your tummy is upset:( I hope you didn't catch something or maybe a drug disagreed with you? Feel better soon. HUGS))) A very Happy Birthday to Allison.

Janet, Enjoy your movie today and you did get a good deal on your flight to NYC. I am very sure you will have a good time.

I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon and I know I will have to get some blood tests done along with a few other things. I might just pic up a rotisserie chicken or ribs at the grocery store on my way home. If not we will have Wiener Schnitzel.

    Wishing everyone a good day!

Cute pictures, Laurie! Love the one with your mother.

Tina, hope you feel better. It sounds like the bug making the round in MO. Daughter and GS's are down with similar flu-like symptoms and allergies.

Janet, enjoy the trip to NYC! I was there onice only, it was a fun place to visit. It was 1976 when we visited the Big Apple! I doubt if we will make it back again, but you never know! I'm sure you will have a blast!

It is a beautiful day. Sun is shining, birds are chirping, and all is well. Forecast is for rain later, then tomorrow, and severe weather possible fot Thursday. Typical MO weather! Saturday we had half inch of snow in the morning, rain later, sunshine in the late afternoon - four seasons in one day! Some areas even reported sleet.

It is errand day. I have my final chiropractor appt. and only need to go in once a month or so --- I call it for a tune-up! I hope to be able to get haircuts also, both of us are in need of one.

Forgive any odd wording. The iPad is not the most user friendly keyboard! It changes the strangest things!

    Have a nice day!

Hi all! Good luck with jury duty Laurie! Nice pics. :)

    Get well soon Tina :(

Have fun at the movie, what a deal your getting Janet! Cool on the New York trip...I thought one day I would be making a trip there since my Sister lived there for 7 yrs...but now she's back here and I don't think she's going back. So expensive to live there too!! Wasn't Momofuku on Triple D?

Good luck at the doctor today Joce!

Lol at 4 seasons in one day Karen :) Good luck with errand running today!

Got all of the kiddos Easter goodies today and picked up some cheap eggs to decorate Saturday. Went by the library as well. The kids both have games in different places at the exact same time. Go figure. So I will go to Caiden's game and Michael will go to Bri's. Going to throw some chicken in the slow cooker in a bit and we will come home to some chicken taco's. Need to look for a good recipe, other wise I will be making these Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Filling. Have a great day everyone!

Hope Rick's dad gets better, Marie!

Sounds like you have busy day / evening ahead.

We ate out at a BBQ place and justvgotvhome a short while ago. No rain expected now until Thursday. I have to pick up some supplements from the chiropractor because I forgot to take the empty bottles along and did not have any idea which ones I needed to refill. Probably will go in tomorrow and then swing by Lowes for a look at their herbs? A rotisserie chicken sound easy for lunch!

Mel is helping me type.He is by my side tapping my fingers as I type on the iPad. Time to stop and let him have a rest.
