Barley Sugar Candy

  Hi!
  
  I use to get a lolly pop way back when that was called Barley Sugar Candy. Would anyone happen to have a recipe for it?? I would love to be able to make them as part of Christmas gifts. I have seen some for sale, but haven't tired them, so I don't know if they are the same thing or not. To me it is more fun making stuff like that anyway.

It was called Barley Toys because it was made from barley sugar, clear, hard candy, made in the shapes of "toys". Took forever to eat, but boy, was it good!
