This was good. I added 3 more garlic cloves, some sliced shallots, about 3 cups of fresh spinach (which wilted nicely) and some lemon pepper.

I tried this the other night. I have an older microwave and the staples didn't spark at all which really surprised me. After 2.5 minutes though I still had quite a lot of unpopped kernels. I flipped the bag over and ran it for another 2.5 minutes. I had a few slightly burnt pieces which weren't that bad. It worked out fine although I missed the flavor of "butter" I get from purchased microwave popcorn. But I suppose that makes it healthier! I attached my picture.

UPDATE: DON'T TRY THIS WITH ZIPLOCS AND ALIGATOR CLIPS, IT WILL NOT WORK! Also a cat IS NOT a microwave!

This was delicious and very, very quick! I threw in some chopped asparagus that had been languishing in the fridge, too. :)
