About me
Ok where to start... Hmmm.. I am a Computer Science Grad that was exposed to the wonders of food as a kid. Love to cook... love to eat.. love to try new thinks. I would say (time permitting) my favourite thing to do is to work with chocolate. Second favourite thing.. collecting strange bottles of liquor from all over the world. (over 325 bottles to date on the Bar Wall). And making vintage cocktails for friends. I still am looking for a place that can make a GOOD drink the way it should be, and thus I am trying to preserve the art of the cocktail. Nothing pisses me off more then asking for a lime TWIST in a drink and getting a stale wedge of lime. Or how many times have you ordered a drink, and they serve you something the wrong color, with the wrong garnish, in a plastic cup, using the wrong liquor. Where have all the real bartenders gone?! It should be an ART... Currently I am playing around with Molecular Mixology.. kind'a cool.. but many of the drink recipes.. well.. you would never order a 2nd time. Anyway.. enough of that.. Back to the food. Being of Polish/Hungarian background.. I hope to post some family recipes, once I pry them out of my mother.. Perogies.. Cabbage roles... wax Bean soup.. that sort'a thing. Chears!
