About me
Not a lot of time to cook at the moment. Husband in hospital almost 5 weeks and now I'm managing our small processing unit. So I'm up to my tonsils in ham - we produce dry cure ham. This is the ham you don't EVER soak or boil, you just pop it in the oven. Mostly it's individual orders, so in a little while I'm heading into the cold room to start picking. It's a cold job, but someone's got to do it and there's no-one around but me. Apart from cooking and in particular baking, I also collect cookery books, which I read for relaxation, and I love to eat out. With Willie in hospital, we've had the chance to eat out quite a lot and found two fabulous places in Bantry, West Cork. I'll review them over Christmas. Looking forward to hearing from you.
