About me
My husband and I both love to cook, and love to try out new ingredients and recipes. He's usually busy working, but I have lots of free time to create and try new things. My recipes are usually far longer and more complicated than they need to be, but that's mostly because I'm always throwing in this or that as I go along. I'd consider my specialties breakfast (I make the *best* pancakes and waffles), desserts (my apple pie is award-winning, and I'm always making different creme brulees), Italian food (my tomato sauce is awesome), and down-home style food (my mac 'n' cheese and stuffing are famous among my family and friends).

I'm over the moon that hubby and you are exploring Asian cuisine and liking it so far. You're right, the coconut rice will complement creamy Thai curries very well. I don't know if you've seen my South East Asian Mussel Curry recipe on this site but it goes very well with the malay coconut rice. Maybe you'd like to try it?
