About me
I am originally from a little country town in the state of Michigan. I started cooking when I about 3 years old. I have lived in Washington, DC. for the last 23 years. I have been married for 16 years. We do not have any children, just 2 spoiled rotten cats. I consider the best compliment I can recieve is when my husband tells me that since he has known me he has never had the same meal twice, there is always somethig different. Besides my love for food and cooking I enjoy artwork, a little writing, cats and bears. I am a disabled homemaker now (Epilepsy). I was a cashier for many years, I managed a few fast food places and bagel shops. But, the occupation I miss the most is truck driving. I drove a rig cross-country for 6 years. I have been through all the lower 48 states and I have lived in at least 8 or 9 of them. I liked this the most for many reasons. Most of all because I was able to see and learn so much from a large variety of people and places.
