About me
Hello: I am a 53 year old male who likes to eat like a guy. However, I am very much into fitness and good health, so I try to eat well. I am a very creative cook who enjoys making everything from scratch. I grow my own Basil, Oregano, Mint, Dill, Celantro, Coriander and Rosemary as well as many of my own vegetables. I really enjoy cooking with spice and making dishes of many ethnic varieties. Some of my favorites are: Chicken with Olives, Tortilla soup, as well as my famous homemade Chicken soup. (That has a secret ingrdient). I am always looking for new and challenging ideas as to what to cook next!

Thanks for the invite! I love gardening too. My favorite herb that I have right now is peach sage. It is great in spinach salads and a lite vinegar dressing. The only thing our veggie garden has produced this year is tomatoes...which, I guess, is a good thing since the whole tomato scare. Part of my garden gets too much shade because our trees are so big and full, so we just try to make do with what we have. Have a great day & thanks again! ~Dawn

I love sweet and sour, but I can't eat pineapples...I've developed an allergy or something to them. It is so nice to see a recipe for it that dosn't contain pineapples. Thank
