About me
I like cooling with herbs but only have a partial green thumb so only the easiest seem to have a long life in my herb bed - parsley and mint taking it over. Wine tastings and eating out are two ways that I explore flavors and tastes aside from my own experiments in the kitchen. How the food looks on a plate is important to me often, such that I consider it when creating a meal. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always my first option except where frozen or canned can be used without compromise to taste and nutrition. Among my reading matter are cookbooks and cooking magazines. My son is a joy t cook with as he creates recipes as he goes and has given me new insights in my own cooking endeavors. Hopefully I can share some of those that he has given me.
