People LOVE andreac's recipes.
I wont say that I am the greatest cook around, I try bits of everything. However, I dont like cook books. I prefer reading them for fun and ideas. But I very seldom follow a recipe. Unless its for something that requires strict measurements (that's why I dont bake hehehe). My recipes are the result of serendipity and curiosity, so dont be surprised if you get some weird tasting things now and then lol. I dont taste what I cook until its done either. I discovered this morning that Indian cooks do the same thing :). cook according to aroma. I love the Italian methods of cooking and the ingredients used. alot of what I make has Italian influence with a twist of South Africa. I have to use what is available to me so I make do. But my pleasure is not only in the preparation of wonderful foods but also in the pleasure of my guests' faces :) Read more
