About me
January 22,09...News from the south... I've been asked to marry the man I thought never existed... I thought all the great guys were gone.. ha what do I know! I'll be back online soon.. Wish me luck on this journey cause even I had told him I'd never marry that it wasn't something I'd even think of doing and now its scheduled for summer. No exact date yet but will let yall know. Its nice to come home from work and find even after hes worked all day, dishes done if there was any, laundry going, floors cleaned, and he knows he dont have to do any of that, but then when I come in n food is cooking... good golly miss molly I gotta keep this one "wink"! PSST: believe me with our work schedules, we both do our part but in the long run we're spoiling each other! Youngest of 22 children, born and raised on a dairy farm in northern Indiana. Now residing in Coffeeville, Mississippi. Population 930 and everyone here definately has a way with making dishes. The southern hospitality is the best!!! I started cooking at my mothers side when I was 5yrs old. When I turned 7 she turned me loose in the kitchen to cook for my father and brothers. I remember my first dish ever.. pot roast, potatoes, carrots, onions and dumplings. Since I started cooking at a young age I've accomplished alot of goals. Cooking along side of chefs growing up, and being raised around the amish helped alot too when it came to making some good pies. My mother was dutch/irish so with her came alot of knowledge of how they cooked their dishes. I must say I am one lucky person when it comes to cooking some decent dishes that people enjoy. Now that I'm down south, I'm learning a new way to cook. Theres things in the grocery stores here even I'd never thought of cooking with. But I've put alot to good use and I'm going to share with all of you. In time I hope you all enjoy what I have created. I want to thank Sallyjo for her batter fried pork chops. Because I was looking for something different to cook and your chops popped up! Now I'm going to become one of yall and toss some recipes your way.
